  • Hi Tilly,
Nice to see you have your chin up and keeping busy - it's the healthiest way when things are tough, despite what anyone else says.

We went to a succinct but fitting Remembrance Service at the town war memorial yesterday but it's never an easy event to attend.

  • Morning, sold an item to a friend so that's £130 OPd today but sadly account is looking very tidy, so no pennies to switch

I forgot to post yesterday that the lodger money was OPd :T

No monies spent anywhere so life of frugality continues :)

    Best wishes, Tilly x

Morning Mr E, Christmas is certainly just around the corner. I must admit that recent events have changed how I am feeling about Christmas this year.

That's entirely understandable Tilly. I can remember Christmas day after some of the pivotal sad moments in our family life and while they were a bit raw at the time, later years saw us focusing more on fond memories and better times.

Keep busy and take care :)
  • Jut secured free cinema tickets for 2, for two different films. Excellent - free entertainment.

  • Goodness free movies are prolific today. I've just ordered another two, so that's 3 evenings out at no cost. Helps to offset the cost of the gig tickets we bought a few weeks ago :T

  • Hi MoneyCurious, I've never had 3 sets of tickets in a row before - maybe I should have bought a lottery ticket :rotfl: I guess sometimes things are stacked to work in the right way.

I have just OPd 17p, maybe that will help :T
