  • Hi Assistant, I would recommend you contact your provider and check their process. It's better to make sure you know when you need to start researching alternative providers.

Most companies are fairly helpful if you approach them.

  • Thanks for the reply.

Can you suggest questions to ask them, sorry for my ignorance
  • Hi Assistant, I would ask them when they will contact you to advise what rate they will be offering you. Plus what type of rate they would intend offering, ie SVR.

This will give you enough time to research alternatives, understand whether the rate they are proposing works for you, or not, and whether you want to remain or move elsewhere.

I would definitely start a diary though, as if you post on your own diary, you will get far more people offering advice :)

    Best wishes Tilly

  • Morning NP, wouldn't it lovely to wake up and find it gone :T. Sadly no :)

I cracked last night and had a gin and tonic, so I don't think I am managing the no booze in the week thing :o

    Enjoy Friday

G&T well deserved, hope you enjoyed it :)
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

  • Afternoon GG, I think G &T was quite well deserved :)

I have been out and bought a couple of thank you gifts to take to hospital tomorrow. I have finished more ironing, more washing, OPd the lodgers food money and collapsed in a heap on the sofa.

Plus am up to £3.70 on OP and have got Mr T up to £10.60 go me :T

I feel quite weary now so am having a kip. :o

  • Great... it's Friday I have two hours of proper work left, 4 mystery shops, the mother of all supermarket shops to do... and now I have a G&T craving. Perhaps I'll add tonic to shopping list and sip while I unpack and type mystery shopping reports!

  • Bar is opening at 5pm - yep I know that's early but too much talk about G&Ts.

We were having venison sausages for supper but as its Children in Need (I'd forgotten !), the kids want a picnic to eat whilst watching TV. I'm leaving that to them. Plenty of salad under cloches in the garden, so DD is busy making a salad.

Have contacted the local food bank today in readiness for Xmas, so I have a list of things they will be looking for. Having the idea is one thing, making sure you follow through is another, so now I have a few weeks to buy bits and put them away.

I would love to volunteer there but they want people during office hours, so that's no good for me.

Have a lovely evening all, 2 mins to go :):)
