  • Hi MRN, made kids pack ups and then decided to work from home.

    Really enjoyed the car boot - x x x

  • I couldn't be bothered this morning with my lunch pack up. I looked in the fridge and left-over veg and a congealed drop of gravy jumped out at me. I've been doing lots of exercise recently so decided I needed some protein too and I am ashamed to say I chopped a lump off the pate and dumped it on top of the veg :o. I've just finished eating and I've had worse! Thankfully no one at work asked me what I had today!

Busy day at work, should have gone to movies but we were slightly later than normal and it was full. Will make sure we are always early in future.

Hope everyone has had a good day and hope the cold spell doesn't arrive this week.

    Best wishes Tilly x

Well done on all the decluttering. Sometimes I feel that the money made is the bonus as I am so glad that the place is a bit tidier. I am hoping to sell some old toys as the playroom is full to bursting! I have heard this rumour of cold weather but hoping it stays away until I have my new boiler.

  • Hi Cath, if I told you how many times I had opened doors to look at rooms, or drawers etc you would think I was mad :):)

I feel delighted that we have less stuff, as that's also a reminder of how we used to behave. My head feels clearer :)

Hope the boiler is sorted before the cold weather arrives :(

I love love love the fact that you're counting down the sleeps 'til Christmas. I thought that I was getting too old for that at 29, but you're made me feel less mad ;)
  • Hi Edinburgher, wait until the week before Xmas, I may have to lie in a darkened room :rotfl:
