Tilly the fact you want to sell at a car boot rather than donate to a charity shop doesn't make you bad at all! Charity begins at home in my book but equally, I give to charities throughout the year (items and money). Don't feel bad at all.
The way I see it is... people who couldn't afford 'new' used to go to charity shops. Now that charities have put their prices up, car boots are the cheapest place to go. You are cutting out the middle man (yes the charity itself gets less money but you are still helping the other side of the coin).MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.1 -
The way I see it is banks generally involve themselves in very ethically unsound practices so the more interest I can deprive them of and the quicker I can be MF the quicker I can be in control of what my money does and doesn't get spent on. I have to turn a blind eye because I can't deal with it any other way, but I don't want interest anyone earns from me ending up being spent on landmines etc.Updating soon...1

Good luck, Tilly x
Morning, Tilly.
Guess what, I started early today morning and I have already put 3-pack uniform shirts, jumpers, blazers and a couple of Leg0 Hero Factory stuff (If he sees them, he'll want to put it back on his shelves - never mind even if it is duplicate) in the 'to-ebay' box. I also have 3 bulging M@S bags with DS2's shirts and trousers which he has grown out of during the past 3 years. They'll go the CS as one of the shops had earlier asked me for stuff for the 12-15 age group, as it seems very few people donate such clothes. I'll be dropping them at the CS in the evening (have to go there before 5 PM). Now, it is clear that I need to buy winter clothing for him to replace those I have just packed up.
One wardrobe done today and it took almost an hour. I'll tackle DS1's stuff next weekend.
Have a good day, everyone.Mortgage: @ Feb. 2007: £133,200; Apr. 2011: £24,373; May 2011: £175,999; Jun 2013: ~£97K; Mar. 2014 £392,212.73; Dec. 2015: £327,051.77; Mar. 2016: ~£480K; Mar. 2017 £444,445.74
