I can't bear the way they make you feel like criminals if you dare have more than 2 or 3 vouchers. I got sent a whole load of baby coupons in the post from Mr T's. Went to Mr T's during the baby event, got lots of bargains and used one coupon per item. I had about 15 vouchers. Got hauled over to customer services because the tills wouldn't accept more then 2 or 3. Why send so many if they won't accept more than 2 or 3??????? I complained about the way I'd been treated to customer services. I also hate using internet printed coupons, the Sales assistants look at you as though you've just made them yourself in Microsoft Paint!!!
I still stick to my guns though and smile sweetly at the people behind me in the queue1 -
I got verbally abused by another customer who was being impatient at the self-service checkouts. The checkout screen had the audacity to ask me if I wanted to continue without using a coupon or wait for assistance. Of course I wanted to wait for assistance. Annoying moustashe-woman behind me kept saying "press continue" like she knew better... so I 4rsely read the screen out to her, pointing to each word as I read. I then told her to mind her own shopping business and I'd look after mine. She then said "hurry up then" but there wasn't much I could do till the assistant got to me. I told her she was "very rude and impatient" she gave an uninspired comback of "you're rude". I then had the choice of smacking the moustashe woman round her winkly chops or putting my pin number in r...e...a...l...y........ s....l....o.....w....l....y! :AMFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.1

Well done! It is annoying to be stuck in queue but hardly the end of the world. The shops annoy me as the darned coupons should just work without a faff!1

Ooh MRN, that would make me very slow indeed :rotfl: the child in me would be egging me on to take my time
These coupons are all valid, so no idea why staff are so questioning. Even the printed off ones I as using had Tesco printed on them.

The supermarkets must be losing more and more money as people catch on to using more coupons! more fool them for sending them to us..
I don't mind standing in a queue waiting for people to use their coupons, although i wouldn't want to be in the queue behind the Exteme Couponers in America :rotfl:Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.1 -

Hi all, for 2012 I failed miserably at OPing my coupon amounts, but I have changed my financial tracker at home to include value of coupons used. I only have to add them up off the receipt and then it's clear what they saved me. Probably won't start OPing this until January 2013 but will start to track the savings now. This will hopefully change the focus and make it more important to use to coupons, thus increase OPs.
Off for a cuppa now and then into town for a little bargainous shop later.
