Ahh :( I've just had spreadsheet fun with money because I got paid early wahooo!!

I've just switched gas tarrifs (waffled at length about it in my diary!) as I'm concerned by the gas bills this winter as I'll be home a lot more too. I'm trying to hold out until October too. Lots of blankets for watching TV and dressing gown for the rest of the day!

    Have a nice day :)

  • Weather on the turn - I am not listening to kids telling me it's cold. I told DS to do 10 star jumps to warm up yesterday.

I wonder if yours are anything like next door's kids... moaning it's cold inside but quite happy outside playing without their coats!!!

  • 8 days to go and then the heating will be on morning and night. As DH works from home I would like us to get through to 1 November before its on all day.

I am the same. I don't like putting the heating on until 1st October and then as soon as it goes on - it tends so go on everyday. But I have it on a timer so it's on for 2 hours in the morning and 4 hours in the evening. As soon as the children go to bed the heating goes off and I am sat there in a warm fluffy dressing gown determined not to put the heating back on!
  • Hi MRN, both kids can be outside running with the dogs and never feel the cold. Just when they are sat on their b&tt watching tv or Xbox that they get cold. I must admit it hasn't seemed cold enough for the heating yet.

Early night for me, so pleasant dreams x x

  • Morning, ironing completed and no Froggy, I don't want yours as well :)

Washing on the line but questionable about whether it will dry. Will give it another hour and then bring it in.

3 bedrooms have had a move around in readiness for winter, autumn quilts on and throws dug it for when it gets extra cold.

Off for a dog walk in a couple of hours, combined with volunteering. We volunteer for two different organisations and all get something up of it. In addition it's good to do things outside with the kids. Last thing I want to today is more blackberry picking.

Some food already prepared for next week to make life easier. Mr T is travelling quite a bit at the moment so I need to be extra organised.

Finally I need to increase my exercise. I am feeling quite weary at the moment so need a kick up the b@tt to get me up and going.

I've broken the various tasks which need doing into small jobs, so that I can tick them off and feel more on top of things.

Right, off for a shower now.

Love a good list.. good luck with ticking most of it off!
    Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.

  • Hi ShalaMoo, jobs on today's list complete. 2 hrs volunteering done and now running a lovely bath - which I might be persuaded to share with a caipirinha :T:T:T. I bought 5 bargainous limes for 19p and it would be a shame to waste them :rotfl:

Completely forgot to do monhtly switch to h@lifax so Mr T is quickly switching that around. Never done this on a weekend so hope it all works out ok.

I certainly feel a bit more organised than last night.

Have a good week. It's pouring here but the lawn could do with a good soak.

    Best wishes Tilly x

  • On a separate note Mr T and dS think it's cold and I am boiling - can you share hormones?

I wonder how many Kilowatt hours of energy women expel?! Shame you can't share hormones, I'd be happy to share some pregnancy hormones with people and then let them wonder why "I've been snappy lately" lol :D

    Well done on your volunteering!

Watch you don't get mixed up and end up sharing it with a piranha .
