  • Well done on the weight loss. Brilliant result!
Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D
  • OMG Mr T is test driving a Bentley tomorrow. Sexy sporty one but what a mid life crisis. How do I tell him he can only have a Golf:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Tell him he'll have to carry on working to pay for it, that should work :rotfl:.

By coincidence we are probably getting wheels for Mr GG tomorrow, but the opposite end of the spectrum :D.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

We drove past (in my Golf ;):D) a white sporty Bentley today - OH informed me it costs c £240K. DS2 (11) was most unimpressed when I told him that you could buy a small 4 bed house outright for that - or that it would pay fully for 4 x university educations - he can't believe someone would pay such money for a car (not saying Mr T is looking at that one :D)

Hopefully Mr T will settle for a suitable (and sensible) set of wheels instead! :)

    xx

    He'll have to GreenT ❤

In all seriousness I'd like a Golf for us to share as we are buying a car in Portugal next year :T. Our son had my old one.

Cost of all cars seems ridiculous. PCP is not for us ❤

Hope all is well with you and your family.

Maybe buy him the matchbox version for his Christmas stocking :)
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!
