Gosh, I hope you're feeling ok now Tilly, that must have been frightening to go through.
Your comment about DD made me smile, my DD is 12 and such a contradiction...,she's tough as old boots and fearless but such a 'girly' girl that we often joke that she'll join the marines, complete with mascara and diamond earrings!!
Hope Mr T's retirement plans are coming along nicely, one thing we don't have is pension provision (for a number of reasons).0 -

Not that we are crazy mad stalker type people. Oh no, not at all. But give MWC a couple of gins and a computer :rotfl:

I think a cuddly-wuddly puddy tat type thing is an infinitely preferably to what Fossa actually translates to.........

Sorry to hear that you have been unwell, Tilly. Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery. Also glad to hear that they younger Tillies are doing well. Good luck with the move to self employment or consultancy. I am finding that Full time retirement is still a bit too much for me in my fifties - so this is a route that I am considering too.Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0 -
Evening, quick catch up as September is here. This year has flown by.
Health back to normal.
Fossa savings going well. £121 on eb@y sales this weekend and all bar one have been collected and paid. £90 in S&S which I'll convert to vouchers then transfer funds to savings pot.
Lovely to see that Tilly Tidies are being so widely used and long may it continue. Those pennies really do mount up :T
Weight loss is at 19lbs :T
September is going to be a frugal month and freezer, fridge and larder will be bare by the end. I'm getting ready to batch cook for autumn thus having a clear out. Shopping budget is £15 for this week
We lit a fire tonight :eek::eek:
