    All, thank you for everything.

    I have posted on the FB page that;

I had spent a lot of the day down at the caravan park, and I put my sons pillow underneath a likely caravan, some food, and his favourite biscuits, just in case that's where he is. I don't want to say we're losing hope now, but...well we are. That doesn't mean to say we'll stop looking for our old man, I don't think we'll ever do that, and everyone has been so kind, so encouraging and positive, but you can't all scan the horizon for weeks.

Everyone has done so much for us, and we are so grateful..but people have went out of their way to help find our old man...we can't expect people to do that anymore. It's not fair to them.

I will never give up hope, but today, when I was sitting at the caravan park, I knew I'd see him again someday. Might not be for a long time- but I asked the powers that be to take care of him for me until I met him again. Now there is a calmness which wasn't there before. I may not have eaten or slept.. but I'm mentally and physically stronger than I have been for the last 7 days.
Ruaridh Armstrong-missing since 05/11/11. Come home old boy-we miss you x

If you can't stand behind our troops, please feel free to stand in front of them.

I will respect your opinions, even if I don't agree with them :)

Thinking of you,im sure your totally drained an exhausted,
get posters made up an put them through as many doors as you can,ask in shops if you can leave a couple on the counter,
on any notice boards, lamp posts that you can
when your out looking wrap up,take a warm drink with you, keep calling his name every few mins,or like another poster said record your voice

  • Ohhhhh Sazzy, hun (((hugs))), I don't know what to say.

I'm so, so sorry he's not been found yet and with so many prayers and people looking it's heartbreaking - I know how upsetting I find thinking about your old lad being out there somewhere so can't begin to comprehend how you're feeling.

Keeping everything crossed for his safe return very soon - he can't just have vanished.... he has to be somewhere.

i am afraid to say the TV stations might be sick of seeing my name. The first thing I have been doing in a morning and last thing at night is re emailing them all.

Even the BBC havnt escaped me. I just wish, and hope with all my heart and soul that this big beautiful lad turns up soon.

Lord knows how sazzy is coping because, and I think i speak for most, if not all of us. We are at our witts end, and wishing we could be out there searching as well.

Please sazzy dont give up hope, we are all behind you, and every little idea is a good one. If anyone can think of anymore no matter how daft they might think it sounds then just shout up. You never know it just might be the one that gets our lad ( and yes he is our lad now) home.

Chin up sazzy, keep strong. Keep the faith xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I'm not as clever as you, re twitter etc, but I logged on at ten to two this morning, you know, just in case?
I can't do the techie stuff, but I am here with you in spirit sazz.

You say to keep putting up ideas, no matter how daft. My worry is that I'm wasting sazz's precious time having to read them.

What I've tried to do, is imagine how Rory is feeling, rather than all the searchers running around, wearing themselves out and scaring Rory futher.

    Hope for good news soon.

  • Had another look around on our way home tonight but no sightings. Will have a look around if out later. Chin up.
    If I had known then what I know now . . .

Another suggestion from me, sazzy, sorry. Is there anyway you could tape your hubby's voice calling for Ruaridh? I'm thinking that a man's voice is normally deeper, and will travel further. Also, at least that way your husband will feel like he's doing something to help, even though he is so far away.

And now sazzy, listen to your aunty Jules: you must sleep or eat. Your choice, but its one or the other. I don't care if its a microwaved ready meal, or chip shop tea but if you aren't sleeping, you must eat. Please don't make yourself ill, that isn't going to help Ruaridh one iota. And start taking some vitamin tablets too. There endeth the lesson, from one who has made herself ill doing just what you are doing, and started to hallucinate too.
Good enough is good enough, and I am more than good enough!:j

If all else fails, remember, keep calm and hug a spaniel!

i was going to PM martin also - but maybe if loads n loads of messages he may think he hasnt enough time and will read them later... :money:

a shot in the dark - but why dont we make another thread dedicated to Martin (sort of a petition to ask for his help) and send him a PM asking him to check it out???

    what do u all reckon?
