Well how many old labradors are pottering around the Nairn area on their own?? These sightings have GOT to mean something, surely? The next one to sight him might just be able to entice him over then hang on to him for dear life!

I'll be going up in the morning again at first light. Another group member went up tonight as well as soon as she saw my post, but she was the same, unless he was walking in the road, you wouldn't see him.

I love living in the Highlands, but at times like this I really really don't!

Oh, I really hope that was him and that it won't be much longer before someone puts an end to his little adventure!

How fantastic would it be for him to be back in time for your OH coming home....think you might be 2nd in line for hugs ;)

    Hang on in there x

Sazzybum, I'm going to light a candle and pray for Ruaridh in a minute, and please God you will find him tomorrow. Please try and get some sleep or you won't be safe to drive tomorrow. You are doing all you can.

Just a thought - is there a local forum or website for these places local to you? My Mum and Dad's little town (in Yorkshire) has its own local internet forum. I don't know the geography of where you live but if there is a village forum it might be worth putting it on there. Or a local farmers forum? Clutching at straws maybe, but every bit of coverage will help to spread the word.

Perhaps, if Ruaridh isn't found tomorrow, we could set a time tomorrow night for all of us, or as many as can join in, to light a candle and spend some time thinking/praying/meditating/sending positive thoughts? Then those of us who are miles away and can't actually physically help with the search can at least take some positive action all together?

Thank you so much smiley x

I've googled it and I can see some fishing forums for Croy, I could start with them. I googled the river path, and it goes on for a good few miles, but if we have an idea he's following that-I should be able to know where he's headed-hopefully
