Oh god how stupid am I? So eager to help I completely forgot he wasn't chipped, sorry Sazzy.
At least it shows that he may well be in a loving home with people who are treating him well.0 -

Sorry, not been on much lately, got bogged down with work, still keep popping in though to see if there is any news.
thoughts are with you Sazzy.0 -
Sorry I’ve not read the whole post but just wondered if you had contacted your local news- BBC / ITV local news or local newspapers to see if they’d run the story? Some TV stations like to have stories to run with at ‘quiet times’ if that that makes sense??
Also don’t give up – my friends dog was found after 4 years (if I remember right -cant remember exactly how long) – and was lost when they were holidaying in another country. Not sure whether you already do this but try to keep contacting local vets etc so they know he’s still missing
Good luck!0 -
Another candle lit, hope you found the peace of mind you needed Sazzy.Good enough is good enough, and I am more than good enough!:j
If all else fails, remember, keep calm and hug a spaniel!0 -
Thanks all for holding the fort while I was gone
I probably needed a day or two more, but that couple of days has helped me more than I thought possible. Odd though it sounds though- When I was driving round the country roads, I was still looking out for a black lab..don't think that's ever going to end.
I found some peace I wanted, and also strength to keep going. I was really towards the end of my tether.
I walked a lot, ate a lot, and thought a lot. Watched fishing boats, visited museums and just relaxed for the first time in nearly 7 months.
Now I'm ready and raring to go again:)Ruaridh Armstrong-missing since 05/11/11. Come home old boy-we miss you x
