He has been missing since November 2011, and the small community of Nairn, Scotland has been looking for him since. His page has brought lost dogs to their owners, rehomed old dogs-but we still need to know what’s happened to HIM.

He has been in newspapers etc, and on MoneySavingExpert.com there is a 2000 post thread still going strong- Ruaridhs search has brought many people together from all over the world.

He is an 11 year old black lab cross called Ruaridh. He went missing on 05/11/11 when a volley of fireworks went off right in front of him, and he slipped his collar then bolted, terrified. He has no ID on him as his ID was on his collar. He's black with a white elderly face. Fatty lump on his right side. Loves children, people and other dogs. He will come to you if you call-and if you have food in your hand.. We miss him terribly.

I have two sons in the British Army, and when Ruars went missing, one of them was serving abroad, but called home every day for news.

I know you’ll be inundated with replies, but just wanted you to know about the community which has now been forged for our old man.

No, that so is wrong IMO.

The more emails sent, the further sazz will be down the list.
Keep swamping them and sazz will drown in a sea of appeals.

Sazz sent a blinder, that's all that's needed, so let's keep everything crossed for her and her old boy that his picture and appeal appears.
