Of course we'll keep supporting you Sazzy, we want to see him home as much as you do.
The only thing we can do to help is send emails and light candles.

Has anyone had any response from the emails to magazines? I've had replies from That's Life and Full House, but none of the others.

I just had a standard reply from thats life, but nothing from the others x

I am goin to look up some pet magazines today and drop them a quick email.

This one is a long shot but worth a try I think? This is for anyone who uses Petplan. They have a magazine which comes out a few times a year I was thinking if those of us with PP policies we could all drop an email and ask if they would print something in the next magazine for us?

This is the only email addy I could find; I have emailed its a long shot but worth a go.x

Good idea Chris. I'll email them too, and I used to have a subscription for Your Dog magazine, I'll try to find an address for that too.

    Thanks Chris...and thanks all.

It's particularly hard at the moment because my youngest son is coming home tomorrow after finsihing his tour in Dubai.

It's always more difficult when one of the boys are home on leave because it hits them afresh when they walk in the door and the old boy's not there. You can actually see the pain in their eyes-if that makes sense.

However, he'll be out running etc, and will be out with flyers. Another pair of hands, and also a fresh pair of eyes.

Does this make sense- I haven't given up hope, but I've almost gien up HAVING hope. I know what I mean..:o Is it harder to keep hope going, than to just try and say ''okay, enough'..?
Ruaridh Armstrong-missing since 05/11/11. Come home old boy-we miss you x

If you can't stand behind our troops, please feel free to stand in front of them.

I will respect your opinions, even if I don't agree with them :)

One thing you know for sure sazz is he's not suffering outside somewhere. I doubt too that he'd turn up at a rescue as if someone took him in they're unlikely to give him up now.
Try to think positively in that although you miss him terribly and want him home, there is no way that he can be suffering, which was your main worry last year.
Enjoy your time with your son.

I would be the same sazzy, any sort of news would be better than the agony you are going through. When you need to say enough I think everyone will understand. Until then we are right here, you might not see us, but we are behind you sending positive vibes and our love.
The thread faithfuls and myself with strive to keep this at the front until we get some sort of news.

We owe it to Ruaridh. xxxxxx

Sazzy, Chris is right. If you want to say you've had enough of us all posting on here and bumping the thread back to page 1, we'll all completely understand.

It must be very painful to see the fireworks heading still up there now we're into May, and perhaps it might be easier for you to let the thread only be updated when there's news of any significance?

Think about it and let us know what you'd prefer to do.
