I have been looking at this thread every couple of days since Ruars went missing. Sazzy I am so sorry, you are very brave keeping it all together.
I have lit a candle from the above link ( scg)
I hope he comes back soonxxxx0 -
It might be worth re-postering the caravan site as the weather is so gorgeous that they are bound to have people staying, surely? Perhaps they have 'regulars' who spend weekends there throughout the season and may have seen Ruaridh or even taken him home with them? Fingers and everything else crossed tightly. Thinking of you. xxxAspire not to have more but to be more.

This is what I'm thinking too. When we had our caravan a dog was found wandering there on the last weekend of the season a couple of years ago (end of October). The place was nearly deserted as the weather was atrocious and an elderly couple closing up their caravan for the winter took him in, made enquiries over the five days they were there and ended up taking the dog home with them.
When they came back to the caravan in the spring, they heard of the dog they'd adopted being missing from a neighbouring town.
The owner had postered everywhere but this couple lived 150 miles away and weren't aware.
The dog was returned to a very emotional, grateful owner!
So you never know...a miracle could still happen.0 -

I am so convinced that some kindly person is looking after him.
Aileen, have you had your toothache sorted out?0 -
Had problems with my Internet and haven't been on much over the last few days.
Just popped on to see if there was any news of Ruars coming home yet.
Just bringing the candles back again.

Thanks again all. I didn't think of maybe someone taking him home from the caravan park. I noticed people starting to come to their caravans last weekend, so I'll be hitting there this weekend.
Finally got two teeth out-was an abcess that had to die down before they took them out, so a bit 'gummy' right now..lol
I'm only working Monday this week, as my oldest son is coming home on leave, so we'll be getting new posters done, and starting again. It's so hard to keep hoping, it really is. But I've got to keep going, got to know one way or the other.
Zelda and Bruce need their big brother backRuaridh Armstrong-missing since 05/11/11. Come home old boy-we miss you x
If you can't stand behind our troops, please feel free to stand in front of them.
