One of my cats has gone missing, so not been on, as we've been looking for Ruto as well. Just don't believe it. All of our 6 cats go inside and outside all day, but always come home at about 6pm for the night. She didn't come home on Tuesday night, and hasn't been seen since.

Again, the round of the vet, council etc-and they all knew who I was. The council was especially good, they called me and spoke to me for ages yesterday-reassuring me that they still have Ruars picture in their vans, and actually see it as a mission to find him now.

Ruto is microchipped so at least she has something to identify her. She used to wash Ruars face every morning, so losing her has brought it all back with a vengeance. Don't know how much more I can take to be honest.

Goint to spend this weekend out and about, and down the caravan park with Ruars poster..so here's hoping.

Oh no...not the cat as well now! What on earth's going on? You don't think anyone has a grudge against you or anything sazzy, do you? I wonder if the cat might have picked up Ruaridh's scent and gone to find him? It's a total nightmare for another pet to go missing.

You must be worried sick. Hoping so much for some good news for you!

You know, I did think of the scent thing, but Ruto (Boots) doesn't go far enough usually to pick up his scent. All the cats stay around the front garden when they're out. I can't see an yone having a grudge against me though. Not that I know of anyway. I DO know that there has been a spate of poisonings round this area. :(

We have been out looking in long grass and bushes around this area, anywhere where she might have, well-you know. It's been strange but the other 5 haven't been going out the past few days. They go out, pee, then straight back in to congregate on their big cat tree. Do you think they know something?

This is just awful. Really, really awful.

I haven't checked in for a couple of day (feeling guilty for that now), so sorry Ruto has gone AWOL too :eek:

Maybe the rest of the cats think there is safety in numbers?

I hope Ruto and Ruars find their way home very soon.

Zaksmum- I'm beginning to think you're right. Bebe, another baby of ours has vanished. Literally vanished into thin air.

He's a one year old neutered male, who NEVER strays from the garden. He's too much of a daddys boy.

What have we done to anyone? We work hard, keep ourselves to ourselves, and don't join in the neighbours gossiping. We don't deserve this. It's just f*cking horrible. It's not fair.

I know there's been a spate of these pisonings, but surely, we'd find something? I just don't f*cking believe this, I really don't.

I thought Ruars going missing was the worst thing that could happen to us, but this on top of it? Someone who's deliberately harming or taking our babies?

Yes Bebe is a cat-sorry, should have said so.

The poisoning has been going on for the last couple of weeks. We live in the countryside, so people are putting down rat and rabbit poison just now. However, it seems to be seeping into the actual town itself. But if they'd been poisoned, we surely would have found something?

I just hope people don't think that we're careless and don't give a sh*t about our babies, we do. Loads. And we're distraught right now

Oh Thank God, Bebe has come home. Bone dry and clean. Snarfing cold meat. He's abviously been somewhere inside. Just wondering if Boots is in the same place, but hasn't managed to get out yet...

One down, two to go. Come on Ruars and Ruto. Follow Bebes lead and come home to your Mummy and Daddy

Aileen, I really feel for you. When I went online this morning, I did my ususal Ruars check, (I do it every day!), I thought I was going to read good news about your old boy, but no- you are having to go through it all again. I'm so sorry for you and your family..

I keep you all in my thoughts. Keep strong. XX
