Just dropped in to see if there was any news. You've just got to keep thinking no news is good news (I know it must be hard). I'm still hoping he will be home for Christmas. Boo xx0

Can't help feeling we are all missing something here though.0 -
We all are. If the power of positive thinking could bring him home he'd be back where he belongs, at his mum's side.
Can't help feeling we are all missing something here though.
I know, I have the same feeling, but can't think of where. There have been so many suggestions, some of which I would never have thought of. I just can't see what else Aileen could do.Good enough is good enough, and I am more than good enough!:j
If all else fails, remember, keep calm and hug a spaniel!0 -
There is no more she can do. It's just amazing what she has done, she's never let up for a moment in the search for Ruaridh.
He must be out there somewhere though. He can't just disappear.0 -
Hiya Sazzy....Just to let you know last night I had the "brainwave" of tweeting BBC radio scotland as they have more "followers" on twitter than MFR - Ive asked them if they could mention on the radio and "retweet" my message - giving Ruars description and date he went and location he was last in - i dont know if they mentioned it on air but all of radio scotlands' followers can now see my message and those followers may spread the word ....Also tweeted a scottish newspaper too - Scottish Times (I think) asking the same.........just wanted you to be aware - I am here and still trying ......xxx0

Thank you all again.
Stacey thanks for tweeting. I don't have a twitter account..or if I did, I can't remember how to work the thing.
I'll be printing new posters tomorrow at work.
The old boy has been in my head all day today..probably because it's been snowing-he so loves the snow. Instead of saying 'Bruce' I've been saying Ruaridh's name..and funnily enough so has Sean. Alan has been very quiet, which isn't like him.
I wish he was here, rummaging amongst the parcels under the tree. With his family. BUT..if I can keep it in my head that he's toasting himself in front of an old biddys fire, eating the best of grub, and being adored-then I can just hang on. I wish I could describe the thoughts that have been going through my head the past 6 weeks, but they've been so scattered-I can't. Sometimes I'm convinced he's with someone, then I switch to thinking bad things. It's not a good place to be.
But again, I want to thank everyone for their support, and if you can find the time please light a candle at http://www.gratefulness.org/candles/candles.cfm?l=eng&gi=RUARS I know some people will find it silly, but someone set it up for Ruars and it means so much to Alan..
