:T All done, how easy was that ?? :j

Do I need to stir the rice Pudding occasionally ? DD2 wants to know if it tastes nice with chocolate chips in ?! Any ideas anyone please ?! I will have a quick google and see if its mentioned anywhere ! ;)

Rice pudding in the slow cooker, Anzac biscuits baked, Spag Bol cooked. I am a Domestic Goddess in disguise, is it Pinot O Clock yet ?!!;) !

You really are a Domestic Goddess.:A

How about rescuing majority of pud then try the choc chip with one or two portions left.

Generally speaking all rice best left alone but as it's going to break up anyway can't do too much harm. The butter will help prevent from sticking. I find slow cooker seem to cook at different rates so trial and error.

I dished my bread maker and food processor out at the weekend. Just found out on the which site the bread maker only costs between 6 and 9p to make a loaf. That with my new electric knife sourced from Amazon and paid for with topcash back bonus I shall hopefully be enjoying mse and better tasting bread!

Ok, I know I'm probably boring you all today now.....but guess what has just landed on my doormat from MBNA ?!!

The cheque as promised last week, can't l believe they have sent it so quickly. Now to squirrel it away in the bank and block it out of my mind !

Not bored at all, love celebrating success. Keeps me going.

Thankyou Alice, I am aiming a mad dash to the bank this afternoon.

Thankyou HH for celebrating with me !

I have dusted my bread maker down recently, but haven't been able to find the recipe for Sweet Potato bread that I used to make for the girls, they loved it . Are Amazon on Top Cashback now then ? I tend to use Nectar for points when I buy from Amazon .I will check it out. I read today of a few people who make bread in their Slow Cooker , It would never have crossed my mind to do that .

I will try not to touch the rice pudding, but am tempted to keep sneaking a peak at it ! I have put it on high as I was quite late making it, so not quite sure how it will turn out ! I will wait with baited breath !;)

Wow Mrs PG what a busy few days..cats, hair cuts, rice puddings and MBNA..only been away for a couple of days and suddenly 3 pages of posts have appeared!! Great to see. THRILLED about MBNA..a real result!!

Raspberry ripple ice cream sounds great...can anyone PM me that please?? And sweet potato bread...yum yum. Agree would never have thought about using a SC for that. Was wondering about a Remoska? Does anyone have one they use/ love?

Think it must be PG time...( brizzle slopes off to fridge!)

  • So, I'm going to pick your brains now - how might (and would it an option this early on) I go about claiming fees back for Mr BR from the Yorkshire Bank? The last few transactions on his account have been fees for one thing or another. I might just double check his statement and see how many (if any) were added after they'd been told we were on a DMP)

  • Morning Mrs P,

    Hope you're ok?

Well done on the cheque and baking :)

Poor puddy cat, hope he's feeling much better today.

Well done on your list, your determination is rubbing off on me I think.
