Argh, emergency vets on an uninsured cat on a Saturday night ! Bloomin' animals - they never get ill 9 til 5 weekdays, do they.......?
Anyway, I hope he has fully recovered from his illness and you have fully recovered from his bill x
Thankfully it was only worms, but without going into graphic detail was really quite disgusting, and I couldn't let him suffer until our vas opened on Monday ! So off we trundled 45 mins in the opposite direction to where we were delivering birthday presses ! Thankfully the bill was low and already covered by the money in the pots !! :TLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Shame about the JF hair stuff. Have you tried a shower cap on? I tend to stay in the bathroom and tend to other areas of my body!!!!!
The ice cream parlour sounds like the stuff dreams are made of through a kids eyes. The recipe is in forever summer on page 232. I use strawberries sometimes in the summer, works as well. If that's not one you have let me know and I'll pm the recipe.
I never buy frozen strawberries but I do buy frozen raspberries. Total bargain compared to fresh and how quick they go off, freeze really well too. I have done the recipe with frozen mixed berries with a good spoonful of icing sugar.
I have learnt to cook, eat better and slash my food bill by being on a DMP.
Having a good day here. Just renewed home insurance. Only saved £13.92 but worth it for a phone call and that's two bottles of wine! Shouldn't complain about the sun but it is making me embarassed about the cleanliness of my kitchen doors. Have to get scrubbing soon me thinks, shocking!

Must admit I was a bit concerned about the 1 pint per person, I was thinking I would need to rush to Tesco to buy lots of bargain slow cookers to dot around the kitchen worktops !!:rotfl:
Isn't it typical, I think Forever Summer is the only Nigella book I don't own, Im sure I can find the recipe on google or if not I'm pretty sure my sister has the book. She has every cookery book every invented I'm sure !
Glad you managed to reduce the home insurance a little, its 3 bottles of wine in asda !! The sun is beautiful this morning, but I know what you mean. Its my windows that are looking decidedly grubby and a tad embarrassing.
Hope you are feeling ok HH after your long sleep and nothing is concerning you too much ! Drop by and let us know all is ok xxxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !
