Mrs P, install spywareblaster, spybot search n destroy and sweep all of your machines. You're looking for malware and key loggers. If it's a password that's more than 9 digits and hard to guess then they could be logging your machine.
You've made me worried that people can wipe accounts via Paypal, I might remove my bank account from mine now.
Hope things start to come good for you soon, you're having a really rough year xxDiary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

That's appalling! I thought PayPal were secure, that's what they're always telling us. I do hope everything gets sorted out tomorrow. It's so very worrying for you.

You're really having it rough and I hope you're going to get it all sorted soon. Paypal aren't as good as we all think I and a few of my friends are having trouble at the moment with money taken from our account via a Skype bill which we dont have. A e-mail bill is sent out with a message which says if we are having problems and dont agree the amount then log on to a paypal website given at the bottom of the message which says will take you to the resolution centre. My friend did and was immediately £607 down. I did and lost £43.09p and so did about 6 others I knew of. Apparently you press the resolution button and you've somehow automatically authorised payment. When we complained through the proper Paypal site the email they sent back says that they know about this and are doing all they can to resolve the situation. That was 6 weeks ago and my friends and I have still not got our money back. Meanwhile we get an email every couple of days about the payment to this 'skype' account which you have to delete straight away and whatever you do dont press the resolution email address cos that's how they get your money. It seems that they target an area and its Sheffeilds' turn. Its going North up the east coast.0

Oh no, thats awful. I really hope you and your friends get their money back soon. We are meticulous as to what we open and click on but it looks as though somehow they still managed to get to us.
We have had an email from Paypal to say that the money will be refunded within 10 days, just hoping that they actually do. Funny how it can be taken so quickly yet takes far longer to get it back !

Thanks Kerri. We have all sorts installed, but thats Mr PG's dept not mine and he is pretty knowledgeable on such things. I will mention to him what you have said though thankyou. Hopefully it will help.

Checking in!
Damn bank, hope Mr PG has success with them. Will he be wearing his best suit or his mankini?
Sorry to hear about PP but good to know there is a way of redress.
I've gone self managed. Will be third month on payday. Will see the back of the 25% M&S one and then next target 14.9% hellifax one. All ok here am just getting impatient!

Thanks for posting HH, I was thinking about you yesterday . Really glad to hear things are good for you. Still as impatient as ever I see, but who am I to talk !
Sadly Mr PG will be wearing neither suit nor mankini , although that would have been fun. We both have a crazy week ahead and cant get to the bank in person until at least Thursday but we aren't waiting until then.
From chatting to Mr PG, the Account Manager is new, sounds very young and we think he has come in wanting to make a name for himself. The overdraft is used often but is in credit at times although not all of the time particularly over the last few months. There was no stipulation when it was taken out two years ago that it had to be in the black for a certain period of time and in those two years we have had no other dealings with the previous Account Manager , she has left us be and the account has plodded along nicely. They are trying to either force us into a loan which will be a personal loan ( good luck with that !! :rotfl:) or a Business Credit Card on 0% for three months by which time we have to have cleared the £5000 they are going to put on it . I would be very surprised if we can get the card also, and we dont want it anyway !
I am not letting it worry me, what will be will be. Mr PG is talking to the Numpty again tomorrow but he clearly has no idea or understanding of the nature of our business either. As Mr PG and I said, even if they say they will reduce the overdraft by say £500 every couple of months to get it down or paid off that is preferable and do able assuming the work comes in, but to pull the plug instantly stinks. The funny thing is is that we do alot of work for B@rcl@ys in a roundabout way , unbeknown to Mr Account Manager and have Hob Nobbed with B2rcl@ys top bods whereby they all pat each other on the back telling each other how wonderful B2rcl@ys is to their sm@ll Businesses . Think we may have a few tricks up our sleeve although obviously the ultimate decision isn't down to him.
We will see what comes of it...................................nothing to have sleepless nights over. We had to personally guarantee the overdraft , so will take the account elsewhere and stick the overdraft on the DMP if they push us.LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !
