I have a vague recollection it was you talking about the Cleansing Wipes actually that prompted me to get them. Does it ring any bells Skint ?

I don't seem to have much time to get on here and read the diaries let alone the other boards. I wish there were more hours in the day x

No need for fretting last night, DD2 had the best time, although was a little chilly in the tent despite all the clothing I provided. She has been invited back next week.:)

DD1 is feeling better today although we nearly had another trip to A&E last night when she managed to walk backwards into a full length mirror in her bedroom without realising. Thankfully I was standing in the doorway, saw the mirror tip, managed to scream at her to move out of the way, as the whole thing crashed to the floor, narrowly missing her. It has smashed sadly, but she is very upset as it was a mirror Mr PG made for her when she was 3 and she loves it. Luckily though she wasn't hurt and that's what matters. Phew ! Seems to be one drama after another in my house at the moment :rotfl:

I have two pieces of money info today, kindly deliver by Mr Postie -

One re the M00£croft ongoing saga. They were trying to collect a disputed debt from me, so I requested a CCA from them. They passed this to Arrow, who have written to say that although they own the debt they are not in possession of the documentation they will request it from the original creditor (MBN@ ) . In the meantime the account is suspended whilst we await the documents. They even returned my £1 I had enclosed for them ! I have been saving the money I haven't paid them towards the debt since last July in another account. Now I need to sit tight and see if MBN@ can provide the info requested. Once they do , if they do, I need to once more battle with them about the balance which is incorrect due to missing payments. All great fun !!

The second piece is a letter from Aktiv Kapital who own two of our other debts. They have written re the smallest making us an offer to settle at 90% of the total by the 30th April. They request £2426.40 from me if we wish to accept their generous offer ! Something tells me that I wont take them up on that offer for now, although they are clearly open to negotiation so watch this space. I was planning ( work and money permitting ) on making them an offer sometime this year if possible but certainly not at 90%, but it was interesting to receive the letter nonetheless. Food for thought there I think. :)

Last night between about 9pm and midnight we received a steady stream of scam / spam emails to our business email address. About a thousand in all. They came through on the work pc, the ipads and also the phones so it took an age to delete them. Mr PG arrived home about the time these started and took all necessary precautions with the internet provider etc. We have Virus protection up to the Ying Yang also .

Just before midnight we received some more emails and I noticed that the titles of these mails were linked closely to the family ie our names, or to internet searches etc we had done in the past few days or so. We didnt actually open any emails, just deleted them. Mr PG thought this was a coincidence but as my name and the spelling a little unusual I wasnt so sure.

This afternoon I checked the Business bank account to see if a client had paid and realised that all our money had gone ! I called Mr PG asking if he knew where it had disappeared to, had he gone on some secret mad spending spree ? He said no he had no idea what was going on. We decided to investigate. At the time of my call to him Mr PG was going through his email deleting the rubbish we had been bombarded with last night , called me back querying a Paypal email confirming that we had paid someone a large sum of money via Paypal which of course we hadnt. These people at 10.09pm last night had managed to access out Paypal account and using our business debit card which is linked to our Paypal withdraw all of the money bar £180 from our account.:eek: we can only imagine that by bombarding us with a thousand or so emails they were hoping that this transaction email from Paypal may get lost in amongst them all and would not be noticed.

We have advised Paypal of the Fraudulent transaction, changed passwords etc. They will investigate and hopefully at some point we will have the money refunded. They are neglecting at the moment to advise us ho long this may take. Our bank has also been advised and cards etc cancelled. Hopefully between them and Paypal this will get sorted and our money will be refunded sooner rather than later. I have googled the name and email address of the person showing as having received our money via Paypal. It is all over G00gle that this email address is a Scam / Fraudulent so hopefully it wont take too long for them to refund the money to us. Thankfully in the meantime I have a bit of cash squirreled away to get us over the weekend and I dont think any bills are due to be paid.

These things are sent to try us ! xx
