Since last post there have been the following happenings in the Pinot household !
Saturday DD2 had an altercation involving a pond, a mobile phone, brand new converse, no coat and lots of mud and glass resulting in myself and Mr PG spending Saturday evening ourselves wading knee high in water to retrieve DD2s phone which had slipped out of her pocket whilst climbing trees in brand new birthday Converse. They are white I hasten to add. Phone submerged for 2 hours but when we finally found it it was still switched on. Unbelievable. It is now drying out in the airing cupbaord and DD2 had a mighty big flea in her ear.
Sunday - Mr PG cycled 100 miles for charity. Crazy man. I ran around like a headless chicken and the car broke down on me three times in one afternoon. Each time I called the breakdown people the damn car started again. I called to cancel, two seconds later it broke down again. After the third call out and cancellation, the breakdown people said if I called once more they would then charge me. Car limped home and I am refusing to drive it anymore, so I have Mr PG's car instead !
Monday - DD2s delayed birthday party this afternoon / evening. 10 girls are sleeping, I think I must be mad and I am regretting agreeing to this.
DD2 currently at A&E with Mr PG as it appears that after the altercation with the tree and pond and her then wading barefoot into the pond herself to look for the phone ( this was before she owned up to what had happened) she managed to get something stuck in her foot which is now infected. Mr PG and I came across loads of broken glass when we were ourselves in the pond Saturday night so I am hoping she hasn't any stuck in her foot. The doctors couldn't see her today, so hospital it is. The party starts in two hours !!

Piece of tree bark and a thorn in DD2's foot, all successfully removed and she is home with a huge plaster on her foot ! I think she feels rather proud of herself and looking forward to showing off her wounds to her party guests ! :rotfl:LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Put the phone in a bowl of rice. It will absorb all of the water. My friend gas saved 2 phones this way
