:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Poor Magic Mike, he has no idea he is the butt ( quite literally) of all of our jokes. Poor Man !! I will be sure to check his nuts and bolts and all other necessary credentials should he come a knocking. In the meantime it has been suggested that I check the voltage coming from the Pump. Now as much as I am liking Mrs B name of Rose the Riveter I am unsure if Rose is really up to the job of checking voltages and the like. I will have a long hard think about this one. In the meantime the spectacular noises continue !
I am in a rush now so don't have time to answer you, I need to work all weekend sadly and juggle the girls around that somehow. Mr PG went away again early this morning, we saw him for an hour before he crashed out rather spectacularly and not very prettily on the sofa last night.
You have really put a smile on my face this morning as always ! xxxx( ps its real !!!)

Hello MrsPG, :hello:
I've got a multimeter you could borrow to check pump voltages - if one knew where exactly to put the [STRIKE]prods[/STRIKE] probes..
Still wondering if there isn't a load of air in your system though?
Have been having a look at the Green Deal scheme for boiler replacement. Might be useful as the price is added to one's utility bill rather than being £££ up front. They reckon the cost will be covered by savings made through having a new, more efficient system (ie. bills don't go up). Presumably things like pumps would be replaced at the same time?

I usually try not to project bad vibes, but am making an exception:
Hope Mr Hot Shot's yacht springs a serious leak and he is also afflicted with many painful boils where the sun don't shine! :mad:0 -

:rotfl::rotfl: I have a multi meter Robin but thankyou for the offer. I just need to find it. I have a funning feeling Mr PG has it with him . I need to tackle getting the front off the tank thingy first, its taller than me.
Have ruled out the air in the system though so we will plough through the rest of the checklist before paying someone to take a look.
I will take a look at the link thankyou. I am hoping it wont come to that though, I dont fancy adding anymore onto my already huge £250 gas and utility bill, but its certainly worth looking at just in case .
I am loving those bad vibes you are sending to Mr Hot Shot :rotfl:LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Just walked in absolutely shattered, haven't had time to look at the hot water tank . Thats tomorrows job if I get time.
I have just discovered the Cat That Shall Not Be Named has worms, he has snuck in the house and deposited a worm on the sofa  Its disgusting. He has been acting a bit skitsy the last couple of days , I had the pleasure of checking out his rear end this morning and nothing untoward was happening. Poor DD2 spotted it hanging out of him, as she yelled to tell me, the cat leapt up and out fell the worm. Mr PG is in charge of all things worm like, that's not my department, but he isnt here to deal with it. I tried to bargain with DD1 to get rid of it, shes pretty good with spiders but she says that she draws the line at things that fall out of bums. I have drawn the short straw and flushed it down the loo, scrubbed where it was, it was on the back of the sofa, and kicked the cat out and banned him form the house. I dont think he has been on the beds as he rarely comes in but just in case we are now stripping all of the bed linen off . Just what I need on a Saturday night.
On that note I shall bid you all goodnight xxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !
