Mr Hot Shot yacht reminds me of people employing DS3 and DH. DS1 is on £50 for a 9 hour day heavy labouring for a builder who keeps swaning off on holiday. He lets him have 15 mins for lunch.
And because DH has been ill and without work people are trying to get him for a pittance because they think he will be grateful for anything.
Sorry haven't caught up with rest of your diary yet.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

How wonderfully organised you are today, MrsPG - am filled with admiration!
Re banging and clonking in the airing cupboard - reading that I thought; aha, furry pipes and air in the system! ..Had the same problem about three years ago, plus general sluggishness where neither water nor radiators ever really got hot. Thought I'd have to replace the whole heating system, but Wonderful Plumber drained it, flushed it with some foul gunk which gave it a new lease of life, and fitted individual thermostats to the rads - end result; the CH is both more effective and cheaper to run.
If it's not that, but squirrels - would you like to borrow CD? She's a whizz at getting rid of unwanted critturs!0 -
I've skim read today's posts and potentially I think I read that the banging noise where your boiler is may e caused by a squirrel. :rotfl:
Perhaps he heard about your tasty pastry brush pies.
You know I'm only joking.I feel in a good mood and quite upbeat this evening, which makes a change.
Take care and don't overdo things. You sound as though you are here, there and everywhere. You're doing things for the family, things for the business and many other things at the same time.
Don't burn yourself out. Take some time out for yourself to relax a little. I know that's easier said than done.June 16 Mortgage Amount £82,896.15

I think there is a squirrel taking a bath in all the lovely hot water, and he's adopted a baby shark to join him. However, this morning the shark woke up on the wrong side of the bed and chased the squirrel hence all the banging. Oh and the reason there is no hot water is because the shark needs warm water to survive, therefore when he's done there is none left for you.
So really it's nothing to worry about, you're just adopting wildlife.

Definitely the squirrel and friends....
My heating system has always made loud and inexplicable noises quite randomly. I do my best to ignore it! I'm just grateful it's working.
Not sure about the shark, might give you a bit of shock when running the water to clean your teeth :eek:Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30
