Mrs PG, what a bl**dy nightmare. I cannot cope without warmth & hotwater, but our boiler decides to pack up so frequently in winter you have my utter sympathies. Last time I was fully dressed with coat and dressing gown over, attractive sight I was ;)

I even boiled about 20 kettles to run a bath to try and get warm!! All of this just makes for a cross Princess :o

Fab idea of sitting in the car :D

I really hope either Mr PG or the heating engineer come up trumps and soon for you xxx

I have left my job now :j and was in the unit today, it was bl**dy freezing despite having so many layers on I looked like Michelin man :rotfl::rotfl:Hot water bottle it is tomorrow. Struggle to type in gloves :rotfl:

If you are working in a cold unit Princess, best you invest in some thermals by the sound of it as well . You have my sympathies ! xx

The heating will be very welcome tonight, it's supposed to be going down to minus silly degrees  You'll be able to have a warm soak in the bath before bedtime, how nice will that be :D

Freds have written to say they no longer have any interest in my so called Personal Tax Bill which had been paid off. So I can cross them off of the list.

THEY have also written as above to confirm it is paid off and I am actually in credit by £5 !

But THEY have now written re the Corporation tax demanding full payment immediately or it will be passed onto a Debt Collection agency. We have paid £3000 in four months. We have spoken to them, but they wont come to any agreement unless we confirm that we will pay a minimum of £1000 per month. I can see their point, we need to pay £1000 per month in order to get this bill settled before the next one is due. They have said they will not accept an agreement on the next one . We cant pay them £1000 per month and also save ready for the next bill.

In fairness the woman was very pleasant and I think she was actually human. She understood our situation, as we said we can pay £1000 in March and possibly in April, infact possibly a little bit more but after then we have no idea. We have no confirmed work after the 10th April. It will come , but nothing is guaranteed. She said that as much as she understands where we are coming from if we wont guarantee that amount, she cant make an arrangment or stop it being passed on. Whats the point in making an arrangement we cant keep ? The decision we all came to was that we would once again carry on as we are, paying them something as soon as we get paid ourselves. Its working well but not quickly enough although that's been due to the lack of funds coming in. We explained how quiet work was for a few months . She confirmed that the debt collection agency is only another in house department and if we carry on tackling the bill as quickly as we are, then by the time they get around to passing it on, we hopefully wont have too much more to pay by then. I dont fancy another visit from them though, although I dont think it will come to that.

So thats the plan, stick with it, pay what we can when we can, we cant do much else to be honest. She asked us to get a business loan, overdraft pay on a card, all the usual. Our answers were obviously no , no and no. I will write to them again today, not that they ever bother to acknowledge or answer but I like to have paper trail. I will reiterate our conversation and situation to them and then shove it to the back of my mind.

We have been paid this morning so they will be getting another chunk of money later reducing the bill further. xx

Must get off of these diaries now and tackle some work. :D

    Happy Wednesday everyone x

You did see a little note indeed :D

VAT Paid in full ......just !
£320 paid to THEM this morning - £6000 owing plus whatever interest has been added but I am ignoring that bit for now.
VAT saved for next bill, I still owe it £500 but we wont think about that today either.

Next on hit list for today the Electricity for February and the Predators to keep them quiet for this month.

Mr Hot Shot should have received his Solicitors letter at his offices today. Not sure how long the news will take to reach him on his yacht, but I can imagine the air will be blue. :D
