What silly idiot with car trouble of which the cause seems to be damp puts their car through the car wash I ask you !?

Can you guess whats happening now !!!? :o :rotfl:

Oh dear, I know its mean of me but :rotfl: :rotfl:, now I've got that out of my system, I hope they find the fault and manage to sort it out for you.

My car had an electrical fault that would only show its face to me and not to the garage for ages. In the end I complained to the dealer, (the car was almost 7 years old by then but I thought I'd give it a go) and they offered to get it looked at free of charge and determine once and for all what was wrong. They found the fault and fixed it, paying 75% of the £1,000 bill as a good will gesture. I was gob-smacked but quite happy to accept.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to MR PG - I hope he is having a good day.

I hope DD2 feels better, wish her well for me. A massively happy birthday to Mr PG. Have you knitted him a new mankini? If not, I'm sure Kerri could come up with something for you, very creative our Kerri :rotfl:

  • Woop Woop! You got paid! You have heating! Fantastic news. :D:D

Like you will choose to ignore car trouble for now. Mr F's car keeps cutting out on him in the morning. It's been the garage but typically it doesn't happen for them!

I hope Mr PG had a good birthday. Did you drive down to see him?

Happy St Patrick's Day. Wishing you heavy pockets, a light heart, and that good luck pursues you every day.

    Morning all,

Been a busy few days, we did go and see Mr PG, once the car decided to start this time ! It did start complete with beeping, collected girls from school and the plan was to head straight off, realised that I had forgotten something, drove home,t he girls ran indoors, I sat outside with the engine ticking over waiting for them and the car decided to cut out. Stop dead, right there , all loaded and ready to go !

It did start eventually and we continued on our merry way , with no beeping this time either. The journey was uneventful. We spent a lovely evening with Mr PG, bunked down in his Pr£mi£r Inn room, all in a row like something out of the Waltons ! :rotfl:He was really pleased to see us all.

Piq - Of course I made him a new Mankini, Luminous Pink this time, just for a change. It would be interesting to see what Kerri could come up with though out of her numerous odds and ends of material. I am sure it would be very fetching ! Maybe we should set her a challenge ! :rotfl:

The weekend so far has been heading back from seeing Mr PG, with the car beeping this time for the entire one and a half hours.. Homework and revision jollying, bit of housework, unpacking from Fri night as I seem to have packed everything in my rush to get out of the door, then last night I was visiting my parents and flying around dropping girls off at parties. They did sleep the night but DD1 wasnt sure if she wanted to, so I roamed around the house until 10.30 still in my coat and shoes just incase I got a call to collect. She wasn't keen on the group of girls going , but felt it was best to go and show her face than not at all.

I am just off now to do the pick ups, drop in on my parents again, take DD1 to watch a rugby game ( there must be a lovely looking boy involved !) then I need to work this afternoon.

Mr PG says he might try and come home tonight. He worked until midnight last night and I think enough is enough really. I hope he does, everyone is really missing him. Its strange , he isn't working far away but we miss him more than when he is abroad. :o

Right Im off, not caught up with diaries for a few days I am afraid. Hope you are all doing ok and enjoying this wet and soggy weekend xxx

Probably missing him more because of his proximity, thinking deep down 'he's so close why can't I see him'

Glad you had a nice day with him
