  • Mrs H posted on her diary this morning the total credit limits on her cards. It made me laugh, it shouldnt of really, but it did given our situation. :D

I then decided to nip off and add up the credit limits we had prior to LBM, although we actually chopped most of our cards up in our flickering LBM so have been without cards for nearly three years now I think.

I have copied and pasted what I posted on Ms Happys diary for myself . It makes interesting reading for me and is also a great reminder of how far we have come, yet also how far still ahve yet to travel . Sadly I know where the majority of the spends went, as I have said before, and it wasnt on the coveted Jimmy Choos or Louboutins. But here it is in all its glory !

£78,000 credit limits, but I also had the dubious pleasure of having a credit card with NO LIMIT ! Thats what we lived on when cashflow was tight or to pay THEM . The only rule being that it was paid off in full each month. I could spent up to about £15,000 a month if I wished but if I wanted more I needed to ask first ! Crazy ! all in all a case of robbing Peter to pay Paul .

In additional £25,000 of overdrafts and the mortgage from hell !

How are we still sane - ish ??? Infact I'm probably not !

Infact I am going to repost this on my own diary, for my own benefit really just to remind myself what a muddle it all was and how far we have come x :D

Ok Mrs PG thats enough pondering for today, I am making my own brain hurt let aone everyone elses ! x

£21,000 in 15 months is amazing, you are doing so well. I bet you that your DFD is much closer than you think but understand your reluctance for not wanting to look just yet.
