Good luck with sorting everything out, we're on a dmp, but as you say it's not always the best route for everyone. Have you thought about any other options such as an iva? And make sure you claim back some ppi i bet you have a few floating around
Good luck also to your dd on her 11+. My son passed 2 years ago, along with 150 other boys out of 800 applicants  was so happy:D. Then they told us there were only 90 places availableand so he didn't get a place at grammar anyway and ended up being offered the local comp on special measures.! I hope you have far more luck than we did :T
I'm going to subscribe :A and I hope all your creditors are good to you and agree with the no interest terms

Hiya, I love the wine too as you can guess, but now I must be frugal will jsut dream about it instead !!
Yes the 11 plus is a total lottery isnt it. My other daughter is at the local comprehensive and loves it, we will be happy wherever she goes but she has pushed herself so hard as she really wants the grammar school palce. How is your son getting on ?
I am keeping my fingers crossed my creditors will be kind and full of Xmas spirit but have a sneaking suspicion we will have a fight on our hands with some !
We thought about IVA but wasnt really for us. I did expect it to be mentioned when we were seeking advice but nobody did. We do have PPI floating around. I am currently dealing with the credit card charges, only had joy with Capital One so far. Have sent off SARs for varying other people. I can think of at least 4 amounts of PPI we have paid, but I'm not sure if we have all of the paperwork or its hiding in the deepest darkest depths of the loft, but I am on the case !!LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Now I'm really confused. I thanked you both earlier and sent you both lovely long answers to your posts and they have disappeared !!! Whats going on ? I thought I was so technical as well !! I will try and remember what I said and write again later !!
On the money stuff - nothing much going on really. Everyone as cashed token payments I made for this month. We should have our Cashflow I&E sorted in next day or so and be able to start to get the letters out. Santander have sent a hurry up and get your act together and pay us what you owe letter today !
Have had some nice news though -
Received lovely Amazon evoucher courtesy of Lovefilm, so thats my nephews pressie sorted then ! Quidco have paid £50 into bank account. River Island have sent gift vouchers to the value of of £50 and a cheque for £40 after I complained to them about my daughter being hurt in store by their faulty clothes rails and having her favourite shirt ripped. To be honest I didnt think I would get anywhere, but I didnt want it happening to anybody else so sent them a little letter and this is what we have got. Amazing Customer Service, I wish they were all like it. Vodafone complaint going back 3 months have agreed to pay £300 towards monthly bills and have finally replaced my daughters phone which was new in July and broke in september with a lovely shiny new one. She will be thrilled. I think I will wrap it up and stick it under the Xmas tree as she has all but given up hope of ever getting it replaced ! Mr Pinot will be collecting that after work this evening. Oh and Halifax written lovely letter advising us that somewhere along the lines they had been over charging us for mortgage and have credited a total in the region of £12000,00 to the mortgage ! Fab, thats the arrears and more gone then ! Someone somewhere is looking over us !!!LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

How strange I can't see the messages at all and I've logged in on a different computer. Hohum!
Keri have a wonderful time at the Xmas party, ours was last fri night. I drank a pint of milk before we went out under mr Pinots orders and woke with a lovely clear head on Saturday morning!
DFW it's great you had a bit of windfall too. We won't be able to put any of ours away as they come straight off of debts etc but I'm happy with that ! Thanks for the top tip with the Pinot I will have to make a little visit soon.
Now I must go and do some work !LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

I&E all done today. Just need to pin Mr Pinot down ( not literally I hasten to add) and check that we both agree on it and then we can get this ball rolling and the letters sent. Everyone been pretty quiet other than Santander who are intent on calling the house constantly but they have given up on the mobile calls.I have just turned the ringer off so I dont have to listen to it anymore ! The Glee Xmas music is playing merrily in my ears instead ! Think everyone else has quietened down as I had sent them all letters tellingthem we were dealing with CCCS so they are waiting to hear from them. Think I may confuse matters a tad when I tell them I actually changed my mind and we arent with CCCS after all !!
Girls break up from school early today for Xmas ! So exciting ! Have been wrapping pressies this morning. The pile doesnt look quite as exciting as it used to once upon a Xmas, but they still have some lovely bits ! Off to take DD2 and her friends to see a Xmas Movie this evening. We have a lovely old fashioned ( very cheap ) cinema nearby, its like sitting in someones front room, but its cheap and cheerful and the kids will enjoy it I'm sure.
Also planning on making Snowman Soup, I have been reading up on the thread.I will put them in the girls Xmas hamper and make some for other family members with the children ! am not too sure they will be the prettiest items as I'm not too patient with things like this, but its the thought that counts and the girls will have fun making them !
Off to do more wrapping xxxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

ooh snowman soup
i made these last year for the first time and everyone loved them! they look fab and you can't really go wrong lol. I got the cellophane wrapping from lakeland and had enough for 2 years worth of pressies so worth the expense i thought and all the other bits were £1 shop or value supermarket items lol. We're doing a xmas eve hamper and i'm thinking about doing these again for the adults & our eldest. Think the other 2 are little young, but i could just fill their bags with pop corn instead

I am heading off tomorrow in search of Candy canes, as our tree was missing something. I have been complaining for days and its just dawned on me that its the candy canes that are missing ! I have read that they sell some cheap ones in Aldi, but Mr Pinot doesnt believe me and fears that I have an ulterior motive for visiting said establishment ! Have no idea why he could possibly think that ?
DS2 and I bought the the choc chips and hot choccie after school but couldnt find any marshmallows. I think I will need to go to Lakeland rather than order the cellophane as we dont have that long now to get them made really. I am looking forward ot making them with the girls ! A few years ago we attempted to make our own candy canes, a total disaster but so much fun ! I think thats a lovely idea filling your youngest childrens with popcorn, at least they wont miss out.LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !
