Thankyou everyone, one of these days I will buy you all a slap up meal with lots of bubbly drinks so that you know how lovely I think you all are. :D

I am calmer now, although Mr Pinot and I had words over it all this evneing (actually that would be yesterday evening now wouldnt it !!) which was such a shame. He was home for once, DD2 as you know is away, DD1 went to a concert at school and although Mr Pinot worked until midnight on paperwork it was just the two of us for a few hours and should have been a nice evening despite us both still needing to work. His philosophy was that he wasnt goign to curtail to the pressure to make a call ,as he wasnt being summoned at her beck and call ( I do agree with him really ) and that he would let her stew in her own juices by going silent and not responding. He was also not going to drop everything and go runing up there at the drop of a hat for a face to face chat as demanded. I can see his point, but as I said the only one worrying about this is me ! We had words :(. Its all fine now, but I needed him to tell her how it is.He said he will , in his own time though !

I was very very tired yesterday so maybe it added to the pressure. I am calmer now, its 5am so nothings wound me up yet !!:D

Thankyou all for being lovely. Oh Granny , I love Dr Seuss, I have mentioned this somewhere on MSE before. I'm sure I loved the books more than the girls ever did.:o

Piq, Asda open 24 hours if you really feel the need to get yourself down there !! Oh and Dedicated thankyou for the insight into the Copper Highlights, I am sure MR Tatum will look just lovely with highlights and I am sure DFW will be pleased to hear this !

I wont answer all of you, one because my head still hasnt let me get the hang of this quoting bits and pieces from varying posts etc, I know I can if I actually tried and put some effort in! :o

As far as the weight issue goes, that makes me mad also . How dare people think they have a right to comment onother peoples appearance and to their faces I will never know. I dont need to lose weight, infact lost a stone in recent weeks without meaning too, due to feeling poorly and I hate it, could desperately do with gaining a few pounds, but amazingly enough not being overwight also causes its issues and people feel they have a righ to comment there also. Any comment whether a bit to large or a bit too skinny is hurtful and negative , I cannot bear it. I am always the first in a room to tell people how lovely they look or find something positive in what they are wearing, their hair etc. Drives me insane. Its little things like that that give us all a much needed confidence boost, even if its, "the colour of your dress is lovely, it suits you" rather than an all out gushy "you look amazing " comment . Us girls ( and probably alot of men also) rarely are totally confident in our appearance and I cant understand why we dont all back each other up and support each other rather than make nasty remarks. My sister , who is stunningly gorgeous, just cannot see it, after years and years of being told. She looked amazing at her daughters wedding yet felt she wasnt thin enough, looked fat etc. If I could post a picture for you all to see I'm sure many would agree. I , on the other hand felt far to skinny, knew my face was looking a little drawn and eyes red and swollen from all my blubbing at the wedding, looked instead like a skinny puffy eyed horse next to her, but hey ho my shoes looked good !!! But we are all gorgeous in our ways in my opinion ..........thats my philosy and I'm sticking to it !! :D

Off for an early morning diary skim now to check on everyone. Byeee xxxx

Note to self, must keep away from diary today........I spent far too much time on here yesterday when I should have been working , so update goes like this:-

Miss DD2 loads, tried watching Come Dine with Me while I cooked tea last night, she always watches it with me as its her favourite programme, but had to turn it off as it wasnt the same with her not there ! :o

DD1 slept in DD2s bed last night as she misses her too and we all just want her to come home, but I also dont want her to come home as she is having fun I know. But in a selfish Mummy way I would like her back here with us ! I sound such a sad case dont I ? Shes only been gone since Monday !!:o

DD1 had singing lesson last night, got her Certificate and Comments. The Writing was almost illegiable, but I managed to decifer it and read aloud to her. Last section of the exam was the Aural Section of which she received 5/5 ( I always thought it was Oral but hey ho ) DD1;s question though after listening to her score and comments was " Mum , what does Aural mean, is it something to do with your bottom ?" :rotfl:Nearly as good as last weeks when trying to choose a song to sing for a show, and told me she was singing the Autistic Version of Grenade by Bruno Mars !!" No offence, I'm sure you realise for anyone reading who may have Autistic children etc , but thats DD1 all over. She clearly meant Acoustic ! She is a bright girl , honest !!! :D

Letter ready to be sent to Company been mentioning over last few weeks re money owed to us from 2010. Just need to add a few more bits and off it will go. It appears that we can actually serve them with a Winding Up Order if they dont pay up within 21 days . Obviously its a tad more complicated than that, but thats the general gist of it .

Sold a few more items last night on ebay, so thats £30 in the coffers and I believe it is being collected on Fri.

Cleared a huge pile of clothes that dont fit from DD2s drawers again, as we packed for the IOW so they need photographing and popping on ebay. The ebay pot now only has the total of £7.00 left as I had a bit of a splurge on bits for the girls and Mr P bought me the perfume (although its yet to arrive) so I need to build those coffers back up again .

DD1 informed me last night that if she is signing up to do the Duke of Edinburgh from sept the £70 needs to be paid by today . Could really do without this one, as last month due to the wedding was a very spendy month,so this month is going to be very tight and lean, £70 hadnt been factored in anywhere, but I really want her to do the DOE. Its right up her street and I think it will look good on her CV.

Mr Pinots car had MOT yesterday, just needed couple of bulbs which we knew about, Mr Pinot had intended changing them himself before it went into the garage but hadnt been here to do it, so it was £45 in total, but its passed ! Phew !! Its my car that will be the problem !

Right ,thats it for now, will go and wave Mr Pinot off to work, he is cycling to the station and when he gets off the at the other end, to save on fuel, good boy that he is. He has lost a stone in weight recently so am very proud of him .:T

Oh and discovered RBS bounced loads of our Direct Debits in recent days during the fiasco, so need to have words with them today .

Letter to Wescot chasing up previous letter, they have yet to respond to needs typing also.

So thats a rough guide to my day and odd bits from yesterday . I will also be calm and smiley and not allow people to get on my nerves today :D

Hope you all have a good day today x

Has she got lots of plans on how to raise the money ? Its a fantastic idea though and amazing opportunity. I think I spoke to you before about Thailand but I must admit I get a bit confused as to who I talk to about what, as you know I'm quite good at talking ! I worked in Thailand many moons ago, not for long but long enough to fall in love with the country. Not the grotty touristy bits, but elsewhere. I would love to visit again one day and take the family. Is your DD doing the trip through the school ?

I think anything like this , DOE or what your daughter is doing is great for the kids though , I didnt get the opportunity when I was younger , so I am going to ensure to the best of my abilities that the girls do get to do it !!I even bought DD1 a DOE endorsed foil body wrap to keep her warm the other day when she does her expedition , to stick in her Christmas stocking and some dried food sachets !! I'm sure she will love Father Christmas this year ! :D

Oh and yes another early start. We finished working about midnight, but I was backup again at 2 with the back. Im starting to feel really shattered now though. xx

She's got lots of gardening jobs at the moment and we had a cake stall last night at Scouts and shared the profits with them. Relatives are sponsoring grades, grandma and grandad are offering £500 for a C in maths and sister is doing £50 for a C in Spanish (she hates Spanish, so incentive).

    Morning! *waves*

It's Aural for music exams because they're listening tests (it comes from that Latin for ears: auris). Oral is for spoken tests e.g. in language exams (comes from the Latin for mouth: os or oris). Congratulations to DD1 :D

Wow you are clever thankyou for that !!I knew that Oral was speaking, I remember doing my German Oral exams many moons ago, but in my head I thought that as she was singing and that came out of her mouth as well it would still be Oral. It sounds as though, that particular part of the exam she had to listen to some music and answer questions then rather than sing. I will have to question her !! Still neither have anything whatsoever to do with bottoms though do they ?!!! :rotfl:

Thankyou Caz, how lucky we are that you de lurked !!! :D
