Think of your impromptu sleep as an investment. It will have revitalised you enough to carry on with your schedule. Your body must have been desperate for it, which is hardly surprising given your dodgy sleep patterns recently. In fact I think you should have another one today.

I have no idea what 'diagnostic procedures' are, but I hope they go well! x

Hee Hee, sorry Lucielle, but the 2am ramblings just didnt happen did they ? :D I actually stayed in bed where I belonged for most of the night, not all of it, but longer than I have been recently . I did dose myself up lots and didnt go to bed till1am, so maybe thats why.

I am sure I will have some ramblings for you later today though as I tend to on most days.

And £3500 that your DS needs to raise ?! Lots of money, but well worth the effort I'm sure xxx

I have decided that my diary is looking a bit like a Car Crash Diary of late again, bit too much moaning for my liking !! so thinking happy thoughts :D....................................................

Thank you for your kind words yesterday again, and yes I did need the sleep. I am one of these mad silly and very stubborn people, that dont like giving in or asking for help at all. By falling asleep, that to me was giving in to the bad backpain . Poor Mr Pinot has to put up with alot and thinks I am a bit of a fruit loop at the best of times !!

    So onwards and upwards :-

For those that asked ,DD1s foot was a slight exaggeration on her part !! She has cut the underside of her foot, very accident prone these days. Crazy really, was dancing at the very expensive new Dance Studio at the school with posh sprung floor, but they arent allowed to wear shoes. If they wore trainers I can understand it, but proper Dance Jazz shoes, ballet shoes etc I really cant see a problem. Therefore dancing bare foot she has managed to somehow cut her foot on something. Its very sore, she has decided it is a necessity to limp for effect and asked for it to be bandaged this morning !!! :rotfl:Needless to say she was given a plaster with a pretty picture of a cupcake on it instead ! Oh and Granny , I passed on the choccy that you sent her, she said thankyou and thoroughly enjoyed it !

Lucky , I am pleased you have finally cleared up the colour of Mr fifty Shades of Greys Hair, it has been at the top of my priority list of things that I must confirm since this conversation started ! DFW please take note !!!

Mrs B - I'm glad I'm not the only person in the whole world that didnt manage their to do list yesterday, I hope you enjoyed the tennis. I havent watched much of it tbh.I was asked out on a hot date many moons ago by Tim Henman which Mr Pinot loves reminding me of much to my embarrasment :rotfl:. I didnt have a clue who he was in all honesty and everyone at the party couldnt believe I turned him down despite him calling me every day for a few weeks and sending flowers to my office. Not my cup of tea to be honest, but I think he ended up quite rich , so maybe it was a missed opportunity, but I wouldn't swap Mr Pinot for the world !!

DFW - I do need to sort out a pressie box. I find it a bit hard with the ages of the girls as they are now. Teenage Girls seem to demand certain presents these days. Hollister, Gilly Hicks anyone ?!! I have been collecting odd bits in the sale, but I have hidden those away for my girls for Christmas. We did buy a lovely T Shirt for DD1s friend last night in the Zara sale that she will be pleased with though, so we were happy ! We had a lovely evening, she should have been doing her Geography project, so I was a bad mother dragging her out to the shops, but it was the tonic I needed and we had a lovely time just the two of us. When we got home Mr Pinot was back from work and had been via A£da and knocked up a lovely bowl of pasta and nice big salad. What a good boy ! :kisses:. as DD1 and I were dying of hunger we were very pleased !

Great Auntie Piq, Alice and everyone else who has given me words of wisdom, told me off and wished me luck on Friday, thankyou ! I treated myself to a new pair of knickers for tomorrow to wear, rather than the fetching paper hospital knickers !! If they are 100% cotton I can wear my own, thank goodness. I am pretty chilled. These tests are never nice, but you have to do what you have to do. I dont know exactly what they will do to me yet, as my consultant has a terrible habit of telling you he will do one thing to you then on the day having a chat and changing his mind and doing something else entirely. Assuming he just does the test they are under xray while I am awake and basically shoves needles into certain points in my back and hips to determine where the main pain is coming from. The louder I yell with pain the better he is doing his job !:rotfl: I will then get a follow up appointment for treatment on those areas of my back unless in the meantime the Neuro Surgeon pops up and decided on the full out back op ! Time will tell !!!

So thats that, I will do my list today which entails, working, paperwork, post office, stripping DD2s bed so she has lovely fresh sheets to return home to and banning her sister from sleeping in her bed again tonight, dry cleaners, my Ebay Vivienne Westwood dress needs cleaning ready for another wedding in a few weeks, hoovering and many more things. I will visit my parents this evening after taking DD1 to her dance class tonight and I'm intending cramming many more things in as well. so after yet another long ramble I am off. School mums meeting for glass of vino this evening, but I wont be home until about an hour after they are meeting and Mr Pinot wont be back to keep DD1 company and I dont like leaving her on her own, so I wont be going. Just as well really as not my cup of tea, but I expect my absence will be duly noted !! :rotfl:

Byeeee to you all, have a lovely day xxxxx

Great day Mrs PG! Well done.

I, however, have done b all on MSE front but did have a 15 hour work day..so pooped and now sitting down with glass of SB in front of TV. Am very pleased with the coffee table inherited from neighbours..it's lovely and we got it for mates rates :-) finally, after over a year we are beginning to finish furnishing our front room!!!

DD2 got a great report. She has dyslexia but is really motivated. Really proud of her for that.

    Hope everyone is well
