Thankyou to my lovely friends for their best wishes yesterday ! Unfortuantely as you can seen from the time, so far other, than now being more battered and bruised than I was yesterday the pain is still stopping me sleeping, but I cant be impatient and must give everything time to settle, but I was really hoping for sleep tonight but it appears to be elusive !:(

HH - Please could the frothy bit on the top of my Latte say 17.07 % , or is that asking for a bit too much in the way of frothy artistic license ?! Mr Pinots alarm will go off in about 20 mins so I will share it with him as our morning cuppa !

Granny - I did very much enjoy your lovely gift last night despite all the blurb from hospital telling me I must refrain, but it was just a teeny tiny glass washed down with a couple of Haribos , so what the heck ! :D

NRA - That was alot of to - ing and fro - ing for you today, but the time with the gorgeous DGS will be worth it, and so lovely of you to give your DS and BF some time to themselves ! I think we forget quite quickly how toddlers can be such hard work dont we, but nonetheless you will love spending time with him all to yourself and playing Granny I'm sure !!Have a wonderful weekend ! :D

DFW - That makes two very proud mummies with big grins wadering around on their faces today then ! Hope the wedges and dress looked good, and the sun came out for you in time. It was raining when I went into hospital and beautiful sunshine when I went out, so I'm not sure what weather you would have had at the required time ! Enjoy spending time with your boy. Year 9 or 10 in September for him, I can never remember if he is year above or below DD1 ?

To everyone else, big thankyous. It was lovely to receive your messages as I didnt tell Real Life Friends I was off to hospital today , kept it all quiet as have been hiding out a bit of late, so it was a lovely surprise to receive all your posts ! :D

So, tomorrow, Mr Pinot is working all weekend. Our promise for him to take of the days that werent filled went a bit wrong with a call from a client desperate for him to work yesterday morning, so depite the plan for him to take the dayoff yesterday he hot footed it into work early doors yesterday and rushed back in time for the hospital and collection of DD2. The Japanese client last night asked him to go back into London tomorrow afternoon asking him to do a few more bits on the job after he has finished the job for another client that he was already scheduled to do. But although I can hear the alarm as I type, he should , fingers crossed by home by 5. So its just DD2 and I today, although I think myparents may pop in and DD1 shouldl be home from her sleepover party by about 11. I have told her she needs to walk ! She was slightly shocked by this piece of news as I cant drive today, but Im sure if she asks nicely enough another mummy will drop her home, but I have told her she needs to organise it. ! She is though angling to go out in the afternoon , but I have put my foot down in the, daddy working, Mummy just back from hopsital, and sister just arrived home stakes and a little bit of assistance wouldnt go amiss. Not sure how well that news went down....oh and Georgraphy project very very overdue needs completing ! I sure there will be a bit of negotiating going on later today ! ;)

Mr Pinot working also on Sunday, needs to be in London by 5am on Sunday but hopefully will return home by 2ish, so although still no days off the hours are shorter than norm but he is getting Mr Grumpy head as the days go on. No surprise there though understandably. He currently has next Fri off with the plan being if my back will behave, a weekend away in the tent. Just praying for some lovely weather :D I saw some friends (?!) of ours heading off this evening with the roof rack on the car so no doubt they are disappearing for the weekend camping . I felt a slight pang of envy, but mum works 3 days until 12 and dad home by 2pm latest every day and all weekends so its a very different lifestyle they live to ours !!

Anyway before I burble any longer , I am going to make my way downstairs , boil the kettle and await HH's arrival if she can get her sorry bottom out of bed to do the frothing !! :rotfl:

Take Care all. I may bore you this weekend as I will be doing a bit of resting, well hopefully , so you may struggle to get rid of me !! :) Although judging by the mountainous washing DD2 has managed to bring me home (along with some lovely thoughtful pressies for us all those plans may go awry ! ) x

  • Morning

    Coffee's ready for you Ma'am

Been up since 6, indulging myself in Mr Grey and currently watching Morning Line.

I tried a couple of large packs of cheap recycled loo roll. Enough is enough. I am hoping that this time next year will be my last July on the DMP (hoping to bring it in early, approx June 2014 being last payment) so I think I can relax a little on the loo roll thickness!

I'm sure you are putting as much energy as possible into pampering Mr PG in his short time off. I know you appreciate this is not sustainable long term but hopefully you will start to see the financial rewards for all this work. You have both done amazingly well thus far.

Glad you enjoyed. I ordered 2 & 3 last night (£3.86 each on Amazon). I found the first few chapters way too trite but have got into it as the book goes on.

HH, the coffee was wonderful, thankyou so much !:T

I do feel that the thickness of the loo roll campaign can stop now, you have done so so well. I officially give you permission to buy roper loo roll. !! :D

2014 really isnt long to go is it or even June 2014. I have to say that as much as I hate the fact you have this debt to deal with, I have loved the fact that you are around and pop in and out of the diary. You have helped me so much without realising it I think , especially in the early days, actually I suppose this is still early days for me , only 7 months in !!

I must try the snowball calculator again and see if it blows up this time or if it can actually give me a date, or maybe I will just bumble along happily in my own little world !!

So, Mr Grey is even getting you up bright and early eh ? I think maybe it was me, I only actually read the first few chapters, actually it was after the first naughty bit when I put it down and starting reading something else. Perhaps it was because I didnt have much time to read so it was in 5 or 10 min snatched bursts and I need to settle down properly. I will finish what I am currently reading, Lovers & Liars which I am enjoying and try again. ! Even the nurses in hospital were all talking about it yesterday, did I mention that already ?!! Princess and granny seem to be into it infact everyone I meet or see, so I must try again !!

    xx

Well I went back to bed at 8am, and woke at 10, very weird sleep pattern I have at the moment which isnt good during the week when one must work or sort children out, but hey ho !!

DD2 woke about 10 and made me a lovely cup of coffee after I had finished the one that HH made me !!

Recieved text from DD1 asking how she is getting home from the sleepover ? . Made me a bit angry to be honest as we have been over this all week. She is only a 15 min walk away. I cannot drive, she is aware of this. She is moaning as she has heavy bags and bedding. I have ( a sleeping bag neatly rolled into a little bag and a pillow) explained to leave the bedding at her friends house if her mum doesnt mind and Mr Pinot will go and collect it when he gets home from work. She then complained her bag is heavy also ! At this point I start to get slightly annoyed. There are 12 other girls who slept at this house last night, surely she isnt the only one walking home, surely she could kindly ask for a lift, I am always taxi driver to many of her friends, or surely she can get her bum in gear, use her legs and actually walk as she has been asked to do. At this point I discover DD2 has got involved and text her also and told her to walk home as she is winding me up, that I'm sure wont go down well ! I suspect I maybe have done a tad too much over the years for her !! After a few more texts back and forth, I then ask her if she would like me to send the private helicopter to collect her ? . Funnily enough I have heard nothing since ! I have no idea how she is getting home but suspect I will see her at some point soon !!! Grrrrr !! She is usually such a good girl !!!
