  • Well I went back to bed at 8am, and woke at 10, very weird sleep pattern I have at the moment which isnt good during the week when one must work or sort children out, but hey ho !!

DD2 woke about 10 and made me a lovely cup of coffee after I had finished the one that HH made me !!

Recieved text from DD1 asking how she is getting home from the sleepover ? . Made me a bit angry to be honest as we have been over this all week. She is only a 15 min walk away. I cannot drive, she is aware of this. She is moaning as she has heavy bags and bedding. I have ( a sleeping bag neatly rolled into a little bag and a pillow) explained to leave the bedding at her friends house if her mum doesnt mind and Mr Pinot will go and collect it when he gets home from work. She then complained her bag is heavy also ! At this point I start to get slightly annoyed. There are 12 other girls who slept at this house last night, surely she isnt the only one walking home, surely she could kindly ask for a lift, I am always taxi driver to many of her friends, or surely she can get her bum in gear, use her legs and actually walk as she has been asked to do. At this point I discover DD2 has got involved and text her also and told her to walk home as she is winding me up, that I'm sure wont go down well ! I suspect I maybe have done a tad too much over the years for her !! After a few more texts back and forth, I then ask her if she would like me to send the private helicopter to collect her ? . Funnily enough I have heard nothing since ! I have no idea how she is getting home but suspect I will see her at some point soon !!! Grrrrr !! She is usually such a good girl !!!

Did dd1 get home ok hun? ;)

And bless your dd2 making you coffee in bed :A

Oh and forgot to answer your question (was so excited about finally being in the fold with 50 shades of grey :rotfl::rotfl:) and ds1 is going into year 9 in september:eek::eek: I feel so old and he seems to be growing up too quickly! He'll be a senior when he goes back  and will have to help settle the newer younger children. I still remember him being at primary, it just goes so quickly! :(

She has just arrived all smiley as usual !! She waited in the nearby fields for our private helicopter but for some reason it never arrived. I will need to check what's happened to it, perhaps Mr Pinot has given the pilot the day off and I forgot !!

The friends mum whose party it was feared to bring her home , which was lovely of her. Dd1 was apparently very helpful in tidying up so she did offer her a lift!

Year 9? Scary eh , so he will be choosing his Gcse's . We found that really tough. It goes far to quickly. Enjoy having him around for the summer. I wish my girls had broken up. Two more weeks yet though :(

Haha blasted helicopters eh! Glad she got home though and is still smiling :p

Yep GCSE's! And i'm sure they plan to change them right before he is due to take them to cse's and o levels again ?! At least i think i heard right on the news so not sure how that will effect the kids choices? He is much keener than i was though and has already asked my opinion on what he should take  i remember my parent's asking me what i wanted to do and i quite clearly remember saying NOTHING. And just randomly ticked boxes and subjects :o am hoping ds will be a good boy unlike his mummy and be pro-active in the choices :p

He also gets to start DoE & army cadets! So hoping it will distract him all term so it flies by and we won't have homesickness again :T

MIL has now started the first 50 Shades, but hadn't reached anything remotely rude by the time I saw her for lunch yesterday, I think she was rather disappointed. I'm NOT looking forward to her reaching the bit with the contract....!

Sorry DFW , I had replied to that message without realising you had already forwarded it, our posts must have crossed. Sorry. I have no idea at all if it's ok or not !

Sounds like he is keen which is great. We struggled as DD wanted to take every subject a going! She is starting DOE in Sep , they seem to start a year later than most at her school, but she can't wait. A friends son is doing it through army cadets and began when he was in year 9. He has just completed his first expedition, I have never seen someone so excited!!

Am sure he will have a great busy year xx
