Yes I know, how cool is that ?!! Still bl**dy scary amount of money to owe, but lets not think about that today eh ?!!LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Well falling off of that chair the other night seems to have done something strange to me, I reckon I must have banged my head as I fell !! :rotfl:
Today I have been in full on snotty letter writing mode, so no DFW I haven't made it to the bank yet, but I will do that when I do the school run.
Todays list goes like this -
1 - Lloyds PPi Complaint - snotty letter after yesterdays silly conversation with them. I only want £100 of PPi plus some interest !! Im not asking for much !.
2. Snotty letter to FOS reminding them that they are being dimwits and pursuing the wrong Company re PPi Complaint !
3. Halifax re PPi Complaint - not responded since letter of last November - If Im honest on this one Im not sure I actually paid anything, but they ticked the box despite also stating we were self employed, but it was buy now pay later and I think we paid it in full before the PPI kicked in, but I will give it a go none the less cos thats the mood I'm in today
4 - M&S Money - responded today with my request for list of credit card charges, so replied with a request for £371.92 please !.
5 - On a roll , then I dug out an old MArbles card from way back and requested £ 173.91
6 - Next I moved onto an ancient Capital One card and requested £221.14
7 - Then just for the hell of it I found a statement from Barclaycard with one charge of £20 so I thought in for a penny and all that and asked them for £32.00 incl interest !!
8 - M&S Money then suffered my wrath after accepting my Reduced Payments in writing until October 2012 but then sending me a stupid letter 3 weeks later telling me I am ignoring them , have no arrangement in place and they want their money ! Its about £7000, so they cant have it and thats that really, so I fired off a letter to them as well !
On a bit of a roll now, I could happily sit here all day and see what else I can try and drum up. I know the cards I have requested refund are very old and are past the 6 years, but I figured I would give it a go as I had the statements to prove the charges. Sadly I know there are many more but they were shredded and when I asked for an SAR they insisted as it was over 6 years ago they no longer had the info, so my thought was, well I have a little bit so I will go for what small amount I have. Not holding my breath but anythings worth a try in my books !
Right I'm off now to collect DD2 from school, go to the bank, get this lot in the post and go to Doc who have called and told me I need yet more medication ! Damn !!!
In between that, I have got a fair amount of work done, but didnt make it to the bank or to collect DD1s new school trousers that I should have collected yesterday. Ho Hum !!!
Msut dash or she will wonder where I am ! xxxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Busy Busy Pinot!
Lots of snotty letter writing going on. You remind me of someone....................... (only I'm so out of practice:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)
Hoping by now the children are collected, and the cheque is comfortably nestling in your bank account.

Yes I remind myself of someone also, but who on earth could that be ?!!! :rotfl: Whoever that person is needs to write a book of snotty letters for me to use when I run out of inspiration, so if you happen to remember who that person may be that we are both thinking of, please tell her to get her ars* in gear and get writing !!!
It is now 12am, I have collected the children (thankgoodness!!) but no t e cheque didnt make it to the bank !
DD2 feeling poorly, DD1 was in detention ( bad girl , late for schoool three times) and mutiny amongst the blinking mums at the school !!! Not my scene as I have said before therefore I just done the usual drive by but had to still suffer the wrath via text and phone calls whilst trying to keep the peace all round, when really all I wanted to do was to tell the lot of them to grown up and stop upsetting the children with their behaviour !!! One day I will shout it from the rooftops ! :j
So Mr Pinot still not made it home yet tonight, DD2 tucked up poorly in bed. DD1 and I watched the first episode of Smash which we recoreded weeks and weeks ago. Has anyone watched it ? the first episode is good but we do like a bit of singing and danicng in the Pinot Household , so it was right up our street !! She is in bed now.
I am off to tidy the boxes of tablets, I have more now and am getting in a terrible muddle as to what to take when and with what and at what intervals !! I have some anitbiotics as well now, msut remember to tell DD2 the name so she can add to her Drugs List that she presented the teacher with earlier int he week !!!

Hope she feels better soon. Oh I remember those days at the school gates well, how I hated them. It's different taking DGD to school cos don't have to fit in with the whole scenarioPinotGrigio41 wrote: »So Mr Pinot still not made it home yet tonight, DD2 tucked up poorly in bed. I'm a bit like that too at the moment, seems like I've only just got over that horrid virus, only to end up with this problem with my jaw. Definitely feeling very Granny like at the moment
Here's some wine to keep us going tonight, although tonight might turn into this afternoon for me if pain continues

I totally understand where you're coming from on the wanting to refuse work so that you can actually see Mr Pinot and I get why you want him to work to pay the debt off faster.
One night in four weeks, is not quite right though and I think you're going to have to find a more realistic balance. Your time as a family is more valuable than time spent on debt busting. The time you spend now is the foundation of your future. Families and relationships are built on memories, love and time together, relationships that thrive through time apart are usually in films or books.
Sorry to sound so harsh, but I think the world of you and I personally believe you need to think this out as a priority. You have full permission to tell me to bog off....

Morning Pinot !! Thought I had best pop in and introduce myself
My name is Coco and I am a DFW !
My kids are noisy, messy boys x 2 , my Ex is a "Twit" (substitute letters as you see fit there) and I am a hairs breadth away from my house being returned to the mortgage company with no money.
But, people like you keep me smiling - your progress is staggering as is the way you keep your sense of humour throughout. I admire you greatly
I will trot off back to DFW now where I belong
Have a great day.
