Well the Wedding was amazing, set in the grounds of a beautiful Country Manor House. The Ceremony took place outside beside an arch covered in Roses, the guests were seated under a canopy decorated with beautiful flowers and tiny bottles filled with flowers and tied with ribbon. Everything was perfect. The Sun Shone at exactly 1pm, the time of the marriage and the bridesmaids walked down the red carpet first, to the sounds of What a Wonderful World , the Israel Kawmakawiwo'ole version for those that have heard it !! The four bridesmaids, flower girl and pageboy looked gorgeous and the bride was the most radiant I have ever seen , given away by her very very proud and surprisingly emotional Dad !!

Without boring you all to tears with all of the details, the ceremony was followed by drinks, games and canapes on the lawn. The Marquee included a Sweetie Stall, Shrugs for the ladies incase we got chilly, all beautifully displayed in baskets , heel stoppers in little muslin bags so us ladies with very high heels didnt keep on sinking into the grass. Everything possible was catered for. The marquee was strewn with homemade bunting and logs carved with the bride and grooms initials, hollowed out and filled with flowers. I could go on forever, but it was the most beautiful wedding I have ever been too. I cried most of the day into my great big man hanky, all photos of me are horrific due to my very very swollen eyes, but thankfully the girls looked pretty and Mr Pinot very handsome in his new suit. Thankfully noone was there to look at me, so I could snivvle away in the corner with my Man Hankie to my hearts content !!!

The sparkly shoes were a big hit, with lots of crys of "Wow I love those shoes", as I staggered across the lawn to the portaloos.:D

Oh, and they had a never ending firework display , a great band and disco. They asked DD1 to sing for them, she wasnt expecting to, but rose to the challenge and it went down a storm. Mr Pinot had never heard her sing this particular song, and she made her Daddy cry , he was so proud !!! The girls , as bridesmaids were given the perttiest gifts, Swarvoski Necklaces, Rose Quartz Jewellery to wear on the day itself, Vintage Story Books where the extract of the reading they had done at the ceremony came from. Picture frames, pretty little pearl handbags, I could go on and on and on.

But my beautiful Niece is now a fully fledged Wife and is currently enjoying herself on her honeymoon. She text from the plane before she took off and we have had various pictures already, one of her posing on the balcony, another of her first breakfast as a married lady !!!!

So.......now its back down to earth with a very very big bump !!! I will be back in a bit to update on this weeks news so far as boring as it it, but first I am goign to skim around the diaries and find out what you have all been doing as I feel very out of touch and I am definitiely missing Grannys Wine !!

    Byeee for now xxxx :D

Ok so my allocated hour on here turned into much more ! :o

I amde it to a few of your diaries but not all, but will attempt to come back later.

    Other news from me is:-

Chased Eurocarparts re requested compensation letter that I sent them in may and they have ignored.

Chased M&S up for details of Credit Card charges, they ahve also ignored.

Had nightmare with NatWestwith Fiasco, they lost a cheque and also appear to have bounced DD2 payment for her school trip next week. How embarassing !:o

Decided to apply for a second job at DD1's school, I have been lookign at application form for weeks. Not sure I really have the time to do this, but the money could all be thrown at the debts so I think will give it a go anyway. Watch this space !

Spent more money on birthdays this week, it really seems never ending at the moment. DD1 and 2 have had parties and it was also my mums birthday earlier in the week. Girls constantly being invited out to places , I dont want to say no but they are burning a hole in my pocket !!! Imagine if I had four of them

Still no sign of money from company that sounds as though they are in trouble - £1700 overdue by 6 weeks now which we could really do with ! Still waiting for solicitor to write LBA to other Company who have owed since 2010, I knwo she has been snowed under but I would really like to get the ball rolling with this now.

Thats it for now, will be back later with more posting and diary reading exploits !! xx

The wedding sounds incredible! (PS I love that version of "what a wonderful world" - it makes me picture Hawaii!!!). So glad you had a fabulous time.

With respect to the birthday parties, I have always used my survey vouchers to support this sort of spending - are you registered for these? :D.

What kind of job at DD's school? xx J

I have registered for every single survey company that I think exists, but I am so rubbish at completing them. Never seem to get a chance to sit and do them and they are so mind numbingly boring. I know alot of people use their vouchers for pressies and it is something I really need to get myself motivated with ! Someone needs to give me a kick up the bum !!

Yep that songs makes me think of Hawaii also, wouldnt it be lovely to be there right now ?!!!

Cant believe you only have a few weeks to go, then you will be disappearing off to sunny Oz. That reminds me I need to pm you for the next installment !!!

The job is as an Assistant in the Art Department. Used to be fairly arty in my day and I am hoping it may fit around our business, or we can make it fit . The only thing is I wouldnt want to make things awkward for the girls having mum working at thier school although DD1 was pretty cool with it when I mentioned seeign the Advert. , Its round the corner and it might just work. I need to fill in the form first though instead of just thinking about it !!! I also have a problem with references, as being self employed for the last 14 years its a bit tricky !

So, I am getting back on track......posted on a few diaries and finally got my DMP paperwork organised and sorted, its not just a huge pile of mess that it has been for months !!

Work been pretty quiet today so I took the opportunity to sit in the garden with the piles and piles of papers, some files and get myself all organised and I am feeling very pleased with myself now ! I can stop worrying that if I get hit by a bus tomorrow Mr Pinot wont have a clue in hell whats going on, now he should be able to find his way around the Mountainous National Debt Fiasco and tackle it if needed !

Another positive was the postie. Yet again he delivered good news and yet again I wanted to kiss him. I didnt for fear that he may start to get slightly concerned with my enthusiasm for his visits. But today the lovely man has bought me a cheque for £450.00. You may remember the blasted boiler fiasco the other week, costing £450, us then realising we actually had boiler cover after all. I wrote to them requesting a refund of £450 which they said they would think about less the excess as we didnt use their nominated company. They called Mr Pinot late last week and told him they were issuing a cheque which has arrived today. They havent taken the excess off though. So my dilemma is do I just shove it in the bank and allocate it to one of my many funds or ring them up and query it ? Option number 1 is doing it for me, rightly or wrongly !! :D:o

Mr Postie also delivered a dress from ebay that I had bid on for DD2. She needs a fancy dress costume for her school trip next week and also we need to supply the costume for her school show mid July. We found a pretty vintage twenties style dress that we have picked up for £4 in a size 6. Team that with a feathery hairband, some pearls and gloves and she will make the perfect little Charleston / Twenties type girl that can also be used for the school show therefore killing two birds with one stone. :D

I have also been thinking about Christmas, so I bid for an unused Jack Wills PJ set ,still with labels and a little carry bag. Got that for a fiver, usually about £40 ish I believe, so that is hidden away for DD1 for Xmas. Thats present number 3 bought so I am feeling chuffed ! We have an ebay pot, everything we sell I am using to buy things the girls need or towards Xmas or odd things needed for the cars, etc. Its working well, but Mr Pinot treated me to some perfume the other week which was lovely of him but depleted my ebay fund,so now I am frantically trying to build up the money again !!

Last night I managed some sleep, the only trouble is that it was sitting at my desk. I fell asleep whilst working about midnight.:o Managed to get myself into a very strange position that didnt hurt, promptly fell asleep, only waking as I crashed to the floor when I fell off the chair !!!! The crash woke DD2 who came running bleary eyed downstairs to find out what on earth I was up to, lying on the floor with a chair on top of me !! I got a very big telling off and was sent to bed with a flea in my ear !! :rotfl:

Consider this is a friendly kick in the rear.s9.gif

I know the surveys are boring, but its very pleasant as the voucher roll in, instead of cash rolling out of your purse! Get stuck in, if nothing else it will help out at Christmas which is potentially a very expensive time for everyone!!! You know you need to ;).

The job sounds great, and I'm sure they will understand the lack of references when you have been self employed for so long. I think in this recession employers must find a'lot of people who were previously self employed having to seek permanent employment.whistling.gif
