When we got home we ahve all found stragetically placed notes from DD2 left for us ! Mine was in the make up drawer, Mr Pinots by the sink and DD1 has found notes stuffed in her blazer pocket !!The house seems so quiet already but I know she is having fun !!LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

omg sun in ha ha ha
so basically I bought 50 shades for the kindle as all the girls at work are raving about it, obviously had no effect on me because well, I like women.
However I felt it needed more story and less , well you know.
So I am home and happy, what are you up to this week Pinot?
Have to admit to agreeing with you there, once it got to those bits after the first one or two I got a bit bored and actually want a story ! Lots of people I ahve spoken to are sayign they have continued reading all three books in an attempt to find out exactly why he is as he is and why she goes along with it all, but I am wondering if we ever do find that out ! Not sure I can be bothered to read them all to discover or not !
I'm glad you are home and happy NL. Bet its great to be back !!
I have busy week, meetings all day today and lots going on really, but it will make the time fly and my DD2 will be home ! I am hoping to have a quality girls night with DD1 while its just us as well if we get a chance !LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

PG, hope you get some resolution on the work balance before one of you falls over. Appreciate it's not easy. You can't buy back time!
My books on it's way. Will report back.
HHx
You will be proud of us !!
Mr Pinot had a call last night, he finally made it home about 10pm and we were offered work for today and Tuesday and we turned it down ! :T Feel slightly panicky, but we have meetings all day today, so that wouldnt have gone down well if we had cancelled them this morning or at midnight last night , and we do have a pencil for a job on Tuesday anyway, but if that job isnt confirmed Mr Pinot has said that he wont take Tuesdays job. He is also home on Friday as DD2 comes home but I am going into hospital, so I have refused work to make sure that he can meet her off of the coach. I would hate it if neither of us could be there for her. He has loads of paperwork he needs to do anyway so with me out of the way he shoudl get a chance to catch up on that and maybe fill a hole in the walls or two !
Which book is winging its way to you ? 50 shades or Takeaway secrets ?!! I think I like the sound of Takeaway Secrets more !!LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

That will teach me for thinking someone who is half Irish could get away with going from brunette to blonde without the mandatory 'Irish' ginger in between!
!
Pinot i'm exactly the same i like to do the opposite of what everyone else is doing without being 'too out there' lol but then curiosity always gets the better of me and i have to wear/read/watch what everyone else is doing......so it always actually makes me behind everyone else(fool I am)
I hope your DD has a wonderful time away and the weather holds out
As for the self-employment, my father is still self-employed (always has been) and it was him i worked for when i was, i honestly couldn't hack it. I guess if i had known about budgeting, spreadsheets & on-line banking (if it was even around then) i may have fared better but it made me edgy about taking holidays, days off etc and I missed loads of my eldest sons sports days, parents days, etc etc. My father made it to one of my sports days when i was 13 and i will always remember it because it was so unusual for him to be there lol! And even now 30 years down the line of being self employed he still works every hour god sends, so i don't mean to sound like i'm telling you offi honestly take my hat off to all you lovely peeps that are self-employed! It's a tough old world out there for you!
Anyway i was doing the washing so will get back to that nowxx
Yes I was brunette with a Ginger Fringe, sounds like we could have been twins, back in the day !!!
My parents were self employed from when I was 4 and I saw the stress it caused, never did learn my lesson !! We have always been scared to take holidays but if we have its been very last minute once we knew how many days we had in a month. We have been self employed for 14 years now, it has had its advantages but probably more disadvantages. Mr Pinot has on occasion been around to take the girls to school or collect them, which he loves to do and they love him doing it, whereas, as is well documented on here, I loath it ! I have missed a fair few things the girls have done due to work, but Mr Pinot much much more. The girls are great though, they weigh up how important it is and we decide if what they are doing is worth him losing a days wage for or not ! Because they are weird hours its not like he knows he will be home for a 7pm concert, as having him home at that time is a real rarity. But thats life, as you know and there is no perfect job out there , we all just muddle along with what careeer we have chosen to follow dont we and get on with it ? !
Anyway missy, get back to your washing, I have another meeting to go to !! Been good to talk to you a bit more recently, we have both been so busy. xLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !
