    Hi PInot

My goodness I have never laughed as much in a long time. Mankini whatever next. I have visions of you driving past your waiting hubby and you wearing dark glasses pretending that you didn't know him....:):):) Best laugh in a long time. Cheered me up no end ...thank you

sorry to hear you haven't been sleeping well. Hopefully you will get a better night sleep soon. Kids are some fun aren't they ... they run like a hot and cold tap. Drive you nuts but thats teenagers for you.

You are doing well with the housework. I am trying to do the same...I repeat trying:):):)

Sorry to hear your mortgage going up. Will you be able to pull it back from somewhere else.

    take care Pinot.:)

    Hi eveyone,

Thankyou for keeping my diary busy in my abscence.

I think I am having a bit of a wobble. Not quite sure why though ! Maybe it was all going a little too smoothly.

M&S are getting on my nerves. They are calling the house constantly re the Account which they have advised they will start charging interest on again. I have written to them explaining we can pay no more and our situation hasnt improved , but they havent responded. I also have advised them in wirting that I want all communication in writing not verbally, but again they appear to be ignoring that.

Fredrickson have today sent me a payment card that they want me to take to the Post Office every month and pay over the counter to them. I'm not sure why and I dont want to have to do that. I would find it embarrassing, its a small town and I know the people working at the Post Office and dont want to rock up with a payment card for a debt collection agency. I have been paying them online every month without a problem. They wrote a couple of weeks ago telling me I wasnt making my payments on time and demanding I set up a direct debit which I politley told them I wasnt prepared to do. They have never responded to this letter, but just sent through this card instead stating that this is how I must pay in future. They say I have an arrangment to pay by the 13th of the month which I was unaware of although I usually do and by paying via the Post Office I must make payments at least 4 working days prior to that. I have explained to them that our income is erratic and the arrangment I believe we have is that I will make a payment within the calender month as soon as we get paid, but they seem to be getting fed up with that.

I dont feel like ringing them or M&S, Ive been a bit fed up and teary, due to the back really, but I know if they pressure me I will end up in tears which I dont want to do. Then I ended up looking at the figures and fretting about it all and I havent done that in ages and ages. :(

ITs all so silly isnt it ? Why cant they leave me alone, let me carry on making the payments as agreed and I will frantically try and squirrel away all the cash I can in order to make a settlement to them. I suppose life isnt that easy !!

Anyway other than that, the solicitors meeting went well. She is going to draft a letter for us to send giving them one final chance to pay , if they dont we will send a legal LBA and then go from there. Apparently we definately have a case which we thought, so that all points in the right direction. I know that they have recently had a large cash injection from somewhere, so I want to strike while the irons hot and before they spend it all again !

DFW, I will get that template over to you asap, might be tomorrow now though. Sorry for the delay.

Oh and yes all is good with DD1 again thankyou. The air was cleared on Monday night. I wont go into it all on here though but all is happy again !! :D

Sorry for the depressing post today everyone. I will be jolly tomorrow !!!

Hope you are all ok xxx

Just popping on very quickly in my lunch hour as I have been a little worried about you Mrs P.

Sorry you have been a bit down, understandable given lack of sleep and bad back. ((((((HUGS))))))

Tell Fredrickson, to go on a bike ride:mad: as long as you are paying that is what matters and if they get on their high horse just say that if they took it to court a judge would laugh them out.

Sorry but these people may me very angry on your behalf.

Glad things are good with DD and that the solicitors meeting went well.

Will catch up properly tonight, chin up take care (have a glass of vino maybe tonight, just one though;))...talk later

    love

Thankyou NRA and I totally agree. As long as I'm paying I cant quite see why they feel the need to control how I actually pay. They make me mad.

I'm ok really, just having a moment I think !

I would love a glass of vino, I have been very good due to the amount of tablets I am taking and obviously I shouldnt really, but I really could kill for a glass !! Is 2pm too early ?!!!:rotfl:

A huge hug coming your way.....

It's only a wobble and you don't have to be manically cheerful on our account. We enjoy your company, we're not just here for the good bits, we're here for the long haul.

I echo what NRA says, Fredricksons can take a hike, you're paying and that's all that counts. You don't have to go through the embarrassment of the Post Office. If you read the DFW board, you will come across a lot of posts from folk who are being bullied by Fredricksons. They are bullies and like to come on strong when they have no grounds to do so.

Also write to M&S and tell them to stop calling the house, you will communicate in writing only. If they keep calling you will report them for harassment. There are template letters on the site for doing this.

    Chin up, it's a blip.

  • Big hugs to you PG.

Glad to hear things better with DD.

A day can make a whole load of difference.

I would report both M&S and Fred to the FOS. It is very very easy to do, one very easy short phone call. They have to answer to them! Their behaviour is downright harrassment and out of order. Am sooo cross for you. But then I do know how peeved they will be when FOS involved. So go for it.

Will be sending strength your way.

    Hope you feel better soon.

  • aww pinot what a carp time eh, i'd second what piq says and write to m&s and ask they communicate only in writing. I had to do this a few times for a few companies at the beginning of our dmp!

I hope your back is feeling better soon nothing worse than feeling rubbish when you've got to carry on with life and get no time to rest xxx
