I managed to watch The Apprentice without a knee propper. I very much enjoyed adding my own commentary to the programme...

I gave special vent to the typo on the bottle label and the scene involving the very concerned looks from the boys when the blond girl took charge of the project. “It is very complicated…” said one kindly. “I’m happy to take charge of a ‘sub-team’, just to give you a bit of structure,” suggested another in a masculine yet chivalrous manner.... .

Did you talk to the tele last night as well Piq ?!!:rotfl:

The spelling mistake really irritated me, you would never know it by the way I type, but I am a sucker for things being spelt correctly.

I think I said over on your diary, that I had to actually switch off when they were in the boardroom as they were all driving me a bit mad, and I listened to DD1's stories of her day instead, they were far more entertaining ! x

    Thanks PG

It's definitely quiet without them, but they are having a good time and it'll be great to see them when they are all back on Sunday. Work has kept me busy too!

Am glad that the debt busting and financial management is going OK...Tbh I had rather assumed that it was copeable with ( not sure that's a word!) as you seemed quite perky!

    Brizzle

I bet you cant wait until Sunday Mrs B. Good to hear they are having fun, are they finding it chilly sleeping in the Camper though ?

The debt busting is going ok, but I feel like I need to have more of a plan in place and goals to reach. I would love to pay the odd couple of pounds off of the cards if its sitting there, but because are on a DMP I dont feel we can do that as I'm sure they will then expect the extra money and ask us to up our payments which I dont want to commit to. I put the extra money in the Emergency Pot instead but I would rather throw it at the cards. It just doesnt have the same satisfaction ! x

I have been feeling rather perky of late, although I am a bit fed up today, but that was lack of sleep because of the silly leg / back thing, then I had to drag myself out of bed to get DD2 to the stables just as I was finally getting comfy ! Anyway she will have a lovely day today I'm sure, although its pretty chilly out, so I dont envy her, and she was arguing that she really didnt need a coat today . Kids eh ?!!

Off to check bank accounts now in the vain hope we have been paid so that I can get on with some debt busting !! We have had to borrow some money from the VAT Account to put into the Business this week so that Mr Pinot could pay for all of his hotel bills this week. They have been coming in at about £100 a night !

Hope you all have a good day xx

Oh how I love the postie again right now !!

Lovely letter arrived on the doormat today from NatWest Credit Card. £797.00 requested from them in credit card charges, very pleasant letter arrived back offering £583.46, just like that !! Thankyou very much. We have no outstanding debt on that card, but they have stated they will credit the account. We dont use the card (obviously) but it is still open, but a cheque would be preferable !! That will then go straight into the F&F pot x

Anyway ,as they have stated that if I'm not entirely happy to give them a call for a chat or write back to them, I think I have nothing to lose by asking them for the additional £200 . Those charges were prior to 2006, so they obviously dont fancy refunding those, but I think I will ask again.

I will try and find time to get a letter back in the post today , but regardless, I am one very happy lady today !! :T

    Great news Mrs P

And yes ask then for the other £200, they took it and you want it back...period.

Actually you reminded me about mine and I had a letter from L***** today to say they are investigating, so I guess another 40 days wait :rotfl:

Still that's the CC and loan account dealt with now just need to check a few others out.

Its really awful when you think how much money all these banks have taken from so many people over the years, so in my book its time they got some payback!!

    Congrats again

    Hi Pinot

Just caught up with your diary. A few giggles along the way:):) C...legged. Last time I slept like that was when I was pregnant. My trouble is my joints and by the end of the day I am feeling sore. Do you think its just age...please note I am not 40 or 50 (in between) and am wondering if its like this now what the heck will it be like when I am 70 if I live that long. :):)
Delighted to hear about our refund from Natwest. Your signature is looking fantastic. Over £12K down. You are doing well.

Good Friday today so am trying to 'keep the Fast'. Not easy for me Pinot, had a nice glass or Merlot last night. Heading to England today and need to get my act together re final packing etc.

Will catch up when I get back.

    Happy Easter:):)

Morning All, and a Happy Sunny ( well it is here) Good Friday to you All,

MRS B - Thankyou for the top tip in Tesco, but having struggled to get into a new dress that Mr Pinot treated me to ( more about that later) , I have decided that I am developing a Wine Waist, and the Vino must go !

NRA - Letter all typed up and ready to go asking NW for the additional £200 , we wait with baited breath !

EBAYQueen - Hello, I too am a bit concerned what on earth my bones will be like at the grand old age of 70 !! Hope you have a lovely trip to England x Oh and thankyou, the signature is coming along nicely ish ! Just wish it wasnt there in the first place !! :o

Yesterday, I had a mini meltdown, silly things, but collected DD2 from the stables, I was running very late as I had got caught up with work ,she couldnt find her bag with her lunch box and book in ( all I could think was the cost of replacing everything ) It was eventually found in the Hay Barn, but not before then making us very very late for her dance class which I was committed to taking other children too. We flew home, grabbed dancing stuff for her to then tell me that shet now couldnt find her tap shoes ! New Tap Shoes, I hasten to add ! Cue a very very long lecture about the cost of things and how the Money Trees in the Garden are Dead these days and having no respect etc etc. Boy was I angry. We eventually rocked up half an hour late to dance class. Tap shoes were eventually foudn in DD1's dance bag,ut by then the damage had been done, I was so uptight. DD2 did receive a huuuuge apology though. !!

Girls were lovely last night ,they could see I was falling asleep practically over dinner, poured me a glass of Pinot, warmed a hot water bottle for my back and made me sit down while they made a beautiful job of cleaning and tidying the kitchen incl washing and wiping up. They even polished the sink so it gleamed !! DD1 decided to sleep in my bed as I have been having trouble turning over and in Mr Pinots absence she thought she was the one for the job apparenlty. Never again, she is such a fidget !!

So, today is another day, signature was updated yesterday, so is a little smaller but still way to high. I need another plan, but I havent hit on it yet.

I will be back later, hopefully with a plan, or some goals or something worthwhile.

In the meantime DD2 is making pancakes in the kitchen, so you can guess where I am heading !

Have a lovely Easter Weekend ! xxx

    Hi Mrs P

Have just seen on Kerris diary that it is a free listing weekend on fleabay so maybe I will finally get round to putting some things on to sell.

Sorry you had a mini meltdown, partly due to the manically busy time you have been having lately.

Hope Mr P gets back ok and you all have a great time, catch up later
