Lovely letter arrived on the doormat today from NatWest Credit Card. £797.00 requested from them in credit card charges, very pleasant letter arrived back offering £583.46, just like that !!

    Brilliant, congratulations!!
Party last night was great, made it to bed about 5am. I really am old enough to know better, but I never learn !

Virgin MBNA have finally replied. They refused to refund any charges whatsoever in their initial letter, but after asking them to reconsider, they have today agreed to refund £679.00
Wow, fantastic!! You're on a roll! Best hangover cure I can think of :)

Ooh, I hadn't noticed that but now you've pointed it out I urgently need to know what it is :D. It must be the butter, because that's what you'd cream with the sugar, but that's clearly not swearing. Surely not the word fat ?

Happy Easter Mrs P (and all us grouppies):D :easter:

Hope everyone has a lovely day and don't eat too many eggs!! :easter_ba

We have my treat of leg of lamb for dinner today (which I need to get a move on and start cooking or we could end up with egg on toast, not choccie ones:rotfl:)

Been a bit lazy and had quite a long lie in this morning.

Hope you are feeling better today Mrs P, the cake looks lovely Mrs Fluffy. I still haven't got round to doing any baking this weekend, maybe tomorrow;)

Enjoy the day folks, catch up later

Mrs P, you inspired me to have a go with the slow cooker today, unfortunately the recipes are blowing my head off as they contain cayenne pepper (I have no idea what this is) and the chilli contains chilli powder (3 tablespoons of mild chili powder). It smells lovely, and I think when cool (to take some of the heat out) it'll taste lovely but I'm not going anywhere near it whilst it's hot.

Anyway, I thought I'd give you the link so you can trick your family into head blowing off :D or you might like really nice lentil chilli. Super cheap too, two tins toms, 2 cups lentils, spices and water :) recipe

Can someone tell me what it is that gets spread on the cake? I can't work that one out.

At stage 6 you mean? It should say 'pr*ck the cake all over'. I got that one straight away, I'm really good at swearing :D.

...so basically you take the Gordon Ramsey approach to recipes? :D

Sad to say, I spent ages trying to work out what typo you could have come up with to get butter !!!!ed out - Failed miserably, not as good at swearing as I thought I was...

Thankyou so much for the recipe Mrs Fluffy !!! Now I knew immediately what Stage 6 was, is that slightly worrying ?!!:rotfl:But it was stage 2 that completely flummoxed me !!

As I am a couple of days behind on my own diary, I am feeling very guilty, but you have all kept it going with your mad and witty comments !! Thankyou x

Still feeling a tad under the weather, most definitely not the hangover now ! Easter is a day late in my house as I forgot to buy the eggs :o so have rushed to A£da this morning, and we will have our Easter Hunt in the Rain later !!

Mr Pinot has left for work this morning, he will be gone about a week so not too bad, I will aim to catch up on diaries this evening, as I have the Family coming for lunch soon and really need to get my a**e into gear , I could quite easily veg out on the sofa all day given half a chance !

Hope you have all enjoyed Easter, looking forward to catching up with you all later xxx :D
