Dropping by very quickly with an alcohol induced fuzzy head and a horrible horrible cold !
I had been wondering why I had been shivering constantly for the last few days and now I know why !
Feel so rotten, I am bundled up in a hundred layers and dosed up with Day Nurse !
Party last night was great, made it to bed about 5am. I really am old enough to know better, but I never learn !
But........despite feeling rotten I do have MORE good news -
Virgin MBNA have finally replied. They refused to refund any charges whatsoever in their initial letter, but after asking them to reconsider, they have today agreed to refund £679.00, ( I asked for £470.00) The money has already been credited to the card, so I will update my signature in the next couple of days.:T
I am off now to languish on the sofa and feel sorry for myself, but will try and catchup with all of your diaries a little later.
In the meantime, I hope you are all enjoying your Easter Weekend xxxxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Happy Easter Pinot. Hope you're feeling much better today. I'm enjoying my usual Sunday morning coffee in peace, catching up with everyone's diaries.
Have already hidden lots of little eggs around the house an am waiting for the boys to wake up so the hunt can begin. DS2 is really good at finding them but DS1 not so good (it's an Aspergers thing - he can't see something unless it's right in front of him, doesn't matter what it is). We usually end up having to give him clues and telling him whether he's cold, warm or hot! :rotfl:Diary: Conquering Debts Once and For All

Pinot as promised here in the recipe for the lemon drizzle cake. My photo isn't the best but this cake is moist and very yummy. My boys love it. I've also posted a photo of the microwaved chocolate cake over on my diary.
Ingredients:
175g butter
175g caster sugar
2 eggs
175g self-raising flour
Grated rind of 1 lemon
4 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon lemon juice
GLAZE
Juice of 1 lemon
2-3 tablespoons icing sugar, sifted- Preheave oven to 160 degrees / gas 3. Great a 1 kg/2 lb loaf tin with butter and line base with greaseproof paper.
- Cream !!!!!! and sugar.
- Beat egss lightly. Dribble into mix and keep beating.
- Sift flour into mix and add lemon rind. Fold into mix with metal spoon. Gently mix in the milk and lemon juice.
- Spoon mix into tin and bake for 55-60 mins.
- Once cooked, !!!!! cake all over.
- For the glaze, mix lemon juice into icing sugar. Poor over hot cake in the tine. Remove after 15 mins. Cool on rack.
- Enjoy!

Partying 'til 5am - impressive...Having said that, I could've done it too, if I'd had a seven hour nap in the middle of the party :rotfl:Sorry you're under the weather now, hope you feel better today.
And a huge :T for the result on the MB*A card
Kerri, servicing you own car, I am awestruck! I have to think long and hard about where the bonnet opening lever is on mine....
