My car is knocking on now. One of the positives of thatis I no longer worry about a scratch here and there. Not sure I would spend on a new car again. Then again, never say never

Hiya HH, how you doing ?
My car has so many bumps, dents and scratches, and it smells a bit funny as well actually , if I'm truly honest ! But being a sentimental old fall, we have had so many great trips , weekends away that every bump and dent tells a story and I would actually be very sad to see it go . The next car we get though will be paid for in full and in cash !LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

I myself dont remember a time when a car has not been like an elderly incontinent relative with tourettes, you love it but are concerned that taking it anywhere might result in a leak or an emission you are ashamed of.
And hugs to all xTrying to shift that debt!0 -

Oh God I'm sooo tired right now.
Stupidly stayed up until 3am last night, catching up on some work and also trying to do the rounds on the diaries. Last post was about 2.59am I think !Then I decided to read in bed until 4 ! What a total mad woman / What on earth posessed me to do that ? I have concerns that I maybe entering addiciton territory, and if I disappear for a few days again I will get the shakes and rock back and forth uncontrollably in the corner and begin frothing at the mouth !!
Functioned today through a fog of tiredness, but somehow managed to fit everything in that I needed to including posting off some items that we sold on ebay over the weekend. Found two beautiful Ivory Bridesmaids dresses lurking in the Wardrobe , the girls said they didnt want to keep them, so I have washed and ironed them ready to be photographed in the next few days.
Its just DD2 and I tonight for a girly night in. We had a late dinner after playing Mummy's Bus to DD1 and friends for most of the day, but we are now ready to settle down for a chilled out evening. DD1 sleeping over at a friends and Mr Pinot isnt home until Friday night.
So I will bid you all an early night tonight, the sofa and then swiftly after that my bed is beckoning xx
Hope you have all had a good day xxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Guess whos back and couldnt keep away. I must go to bed, but as I took DD2 upstairs to tuck her in, the Office was calling to me in one of those weird spooky movie voices....
"Come to me Mrs P, Come to me..........you will never forgive yourself if you miss something important and dont write down loads of random nonsense you try and pass off as wordly wisdom .................!!!! ."
So here I am, but not for long.
I will set the ever faithful Elephant Timer and log off as soon as it lets out its roar ( or whatever that noise is that Elephant makes, a charging noise perhaps ? ) :rotfl:LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Good sentiment.
I'm OK thanks.
Moved a relative into care recently. Was asked to sort a joint account but daren't because of the DMP incase it came up on anyone else's search.
Am going on as a third party which I think has less of a financial link.

Pinot, I hope you managed to get a decent sleep last night. had I known there were so many middle of the night visitors on here I could have come and joined in too. My sprained ribs are giving me such grief especially during the night.
HH We are in the process of looking at possible care home for an elderly relative too. Now DS1 is on a DMP I was wondering if we could be affected by a search as he lives here with us. I am not going to be applying for any more credit now if I can help it but was turned down for an increase in my overdraft last week
kerri Hay fever seems so far away now as I am snowed in today. Had to cancel doctor's appointment at 10am as we couldn't even get the 4wd out!!business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Your Company would have been very welcome Pooh. I'm sorry to hear you are having trouble sleeping with the pain. I have alot of back trouble and use Mr Pinot to balance my leg on when I sleep to try and stop the pain ! Conjures up a pretty sight I'm sure ! :eek:When he away, as he is now, I try and use pillows instead, but they just arent the same , so often its easier to just get up and wander around the house or come on MSE instead ! Hope your ribs start to improve soon. I really need to catchup on your diary.
I can understand your concerns re your DS's DMP and living with you. I have read very mixed reports on this situation. Many years ago we were turned down for credit as my EX DH's father had run up alot of debt and even though he didnt live with us, we were turned down as my EXDH had obviously lived at his address in the past. Things have moved on I know since then(this was about 20 odd years ago ), but I have read some things that state that if you live at the same address these things are linked and others that state it has nothing to do with addresses at all, only the persons name. It is a minefield. Maybe someone is reading here who knows more ? It certainly would be interesting to know a bit more on the subject wouldnt it ? ! I know its something HH has been concerned over as well.
You have snow as well then ? Mr Pinot is in the Midlands this week and he text earlier to say he had a light snow fall. We have sunshine, I have just cut the grass and the girls are on their way to the local farm for an ice cream ! xLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !
