I'm not intentionally twisting your words. What you don't seem to have considered is a fantasy scenario where somebody watching !!!!!! puts themselves and their partner in place of the characters on the screen/page. They are mentally focussing on nobody else but each other.

lol! in the kids sex-help educational tv program recently most of the girls agreed they did this!! They are copying !!!!!! and think it is normal behaviour. or crash in which car smashes are filmed showing death and carnage in cars linked with sexual satisfaction, would not have been allowed to be aired.

Anyone over 18 can go and see these in mainstream cinema.
Money talks I'm afraid as Caterpillar`was originally banned in the UK.

Its the Human Centipede actually and the first one wasn't banned. The second was, for all of a month.

All the ban did was raise awareness of the film and gave it massive publicity. If they hadn't it would have died a quiet death as it is quite frankly a rubbish piece of filmaking. Plus the ban was only in the UK, it was being released in other countries and sooner or later it will be all over the web and the fact that it was banned would more than likely make people actively seek it out to see what the fuss is about.

The fact that it is being shown at most probably a very select few cinemas and the show times will more than likely be few and far between and late at night doesn't force people to go and watch it.

I understand these concerns as I think the mainstream !!!!!! industry can be too formulaic in these ways, and nobody should be made to feel they have to do anything sexually that they're uncomfortable with but I think it's better counteracted with education and open discussion than with banning and hiding.

Your average teenage magazine, fashion ad, make-up ad, tv show etc, makes girls feel they have to conform to a certain (often unobtainable) physical, emotional, social stereotypes too, that can be just as damaging. I feel parents and educators should make it a priority to make kids feel that they're ok if they don't conform to these and I think sexually that should be the case too, because if you just ignore it and sweep it under the carpet, you are damaging their right to choose for themselves what they actually enjoy doing just as much as protecting them from what you feel they shouldn't or wouldn't enjoy.

Look on the positive side, it opens their minds to other potentially pleasurable activities... and they won't get pregnant doing it either.
