I would say yes to the buttercream as you would normally keep the butter for longer than that so it should be ok. No to the second. I think its a bit dodgy for chicken as the marinade would probably mask the 'off' smell and taste.

    Hi

    Is anyone watching just now?

Frozen pizza rectangle, left over from last month's party. How long and at what temperature in fan oven. Last leftovers we had we defrosted and was rather soggy.

Dinner in about an hour!!!! Help appreciated.

I would say bung in the oven until thoroughly thawed and just warm (or in the microwave), cooking in a dry frying pan is the only sure way ive found to get the crisp back!

    Enjoy

    Thanks Boo

It is already in oven - have decided not too warm to start and then hot up at the end for the partly cooked baguette. Appreciate you replying.

    Take care.

I want to substitute sunflower oil for butter in my BM basic bread recipe. Has anyone any idea how many tablespoons I should use to an ounce?
    TIA

A level tbsp holds 15ml and an ounce is 28.something gm, so I'd sub 2 tbsp for 1 oz ;)

I wonder if anyone can tell me what the best option is for cleaning 2 rooms with carpets, we have 2 large dogs and the carpets are in desperate need of cleaning. Many years ago in our old house we had one of those Vax cleaners but found it a lot of hassle and the carpets never seemed as good after.

Are there any better methods of cleaning these days, is it best to hire a cleaner or get a company in to do the cleaning for us.

I'd be grateful for any suggestions.

    Thanks
