What are Stardrops? I've seen them mentioned all over the place - something to do with washing up as far as I can gather - new to this and I will try anything and everyting to slay the beast of debt!
Hi cdg,
Stardrops is an all purpose cleaner that can be used on almost anything. I usually buy it in Asda.

I want to make some fairycakes but I haven't any of the little papercases - can I just make them in a muffin tray? If so how would you recommend I do it?Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0

Packet of sealed uncooked bacon. What's the longest you can leave it out of the fridge before having to chuck it out for food safety? OH did the shopping and forgot to put everything away. Luckily it was a very small shop, and most of the food didn't need put in the fridge or freezer, but he did leave the bacon out.
I've got a feeling it's only a couple of hours, but would be grateful to have this confirmed.0 -

Hi
Ive got some nectarines and ive never had them before, can I treat them the same as peaches for cooking or are the skins different? Sorry im a bit clueless about fruit
Many thanks0 -

I don't really cook with fruit much, but I think you've inspired me after I searched on the good food website for nectarine ideas!!
http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/search.do;jsessionid=c2309d4a790624661f45TR?keywords=nectarine&searchType=recipes&cooktime=&cuisine=&course=&calorieRange=&occasion=&chef=&diet=&servings=
If that don't work, go to https://www.bbcgoodfood.com and type nectarines in the recipe search box!!

You can use them in the same way as peaches, but the skins are more palatable as they are not fuzzy. (This is lucky as said skins do not slip off as easily as those of peaches, anyway!)0

nicki, i'd only risk it if you aren't planning on serving the cakes up to impress!
Here's how I'd do it, cut small circles fo greaseproof paper for the bottom of each cake space in your tin. Grease tins and paper well.
You do risk having them stick to the sides though - i'd pop out and buy some cases!DEBT: £500 credit card £800 Bank overdraft
