Thanks.

Good morning everyone.
Can anyone tell me (sometime today) what I can do with an Aubergine, I bought it with some minced lamb to do Mousaka, then used the lamb to make Jamie Oliver' s Lamb burgers, which incidentally were lovely:cheesy: .
The other obvious use for it is in ratatouille, but I wondered if anyone has other ideas. Aubergines are certainly too expensive to waste.Feb. G.C. From Jan 26th £350.00

My husband has made 2 "quichey-flaney" things. They are filo pastry with feta cheese, spinach and a bit of egg in them. He made 2 as he was trying to use up all the spinach in our garden. They are gorgeous, but we cant eat both. Will it be OK to freeze one of them? We wouldn't want to re-heat them, just defrost and eat with salad or something. Will it be OK to freeze with these ingredients please? If it is, he is going to make a tomoto one tonight too as we've got loads of them too!
Many Thanks0 -
hello all I bought some chilled scottish cooked mussles in garlic from morrisons and froze them. I have just got them out of the freezer and noticed it says nothing about defrosting or freezing. only how to cook from chilled. no warning about previous been frozen.. not sure now if they have already been frozen so not safe to eat. what do you think??IT'S ALL ABOUT ME!!!:j:money:0

You can buy frozen quiche and it says on the box of ready made ones that they freeze for up to a month. My mum also used to make and freeze quiche and I'm not dead so I reckon you'll be OK.0 -

I can't see why not; if it's going to get wasted I'd rather freeze it and see than throw it away. Think about the ingredients - would they be OK to freeze individually?0
