1) It will be the OCTOBER bill.
2) They no longer can void all claims if you MISS one. However, read the t&c you actually reproduced above. I am telling you that if you miss claim 1 you should get the rest paid unless you stuff up again. What I have stated is consistent with both your point AND the actual t&c you must adhere to.
I'm back up to 9 such contracts and look after as many again for other people and things like this shouldn't happen provided you do things properly at each and every stage - starting from day one. In your case, IF your bank has stuffed up the direct debit and Mobiles.co refuse to pay this or all claims I would make a formal complaint to your bank demanding they recompense you accordingly. I have pursued my bank many times all the way to the FOS where necessary (and several other banks too) because any way things turn out I like to have a way of ensuring I get my money. I would say though that I've always extracted my money from the dealers without recourse to third parties (apart from the Courts on rare occasions).
Whilst i appreciate all the advice here, there is no need to be so patronising junkie - we are all here for the same thing in the most part.
I have explained why I feel my points are valid, but will give more detail, they refer to 'in 6 months' - April (1), May(2), June(3), July(4), Aug (5) and Sept (6). Otherwise surely it is after month 6, no?
If not please explain, thank you0 -

Where is MJ being patronising ?, you come here asking for advice and then act as if you know it all.
MJ knows more about cashbacks than anyone else on here , bothers to give you good advice and then you bite back like that !!!
Cheek of it !!If not please explain, thank you0 -
Thanks guys and gals
I have just noticed that on their How To Claim Cashback page (18-24 month with value over £100) which i printed in July it states at the top that they nedd 'bills off you in months 6, 9........' and currently states 'Claim in 5 stages in months 6, 9....'. Both of these clearly state 'in months 6' not after!
Now my contract started at the end of April so perhaps I could send in my Sept bill, which shows no arrears, Sept being the 6th month. Any thoughts?
I'm afraid I'm going to be "patronising" again.
1) You only just noticed...As I said before, you need to now exactly what you're doing from DAY 1. You still don't know what you're doing, because....
2) If you took out the contract (i.e. ordered) in April 2011 the t&c AT THE POINT OF sale mean it is your OCTOBER bill. All the wishful thinking and misinterpretation of t&c in the world won't alter that FACT.
3) I have no need to explain further - it's IN the t&c YOU agreed to at the point of sale. In fact, at that time they were more than perfectly clear and void of ambiguity. You can't read t&c selectively. Claim months are numbered, but also defined - and a LOT more clearly than they are now. Another VERY common mistake is not to know what the t&c awere at the point of sale; I strongly suspect you're well into playing catch-up and referring to what is on the website NOW.
One very common error people make (ever since I first started researching cashback contracts) is to count bill numbers. I have warned against it for years - but that is exactly what you are now doing.0 -

Well, feel free to ignore what I've told you. You seem to want things to be different to how they actually are!0

Junkie I have not ignored what you told me, quite the contrary I am still weighing everything up and it is your advice that has given me the most to think about and i am grateful for that.
I do want alot of things to be different to the way they are! But regarding this I am just trying to maximise my chance of getting the cashback, that is all.0 -

I have had a number of run ins with MJ in the past and have accused him of being many things, as he will confirm.
Now it could be that I am mellowing or desensitised but I have to agree with Keith that MJ's posts do not seem to have been patronising.
He is quite right that people don't study the t&c. You suggested in 1 post that September was the correct bill. Clearly not the case, and may be why mobiles.co.uk amended their website to introduce the concept of a "month zero".
With you 100% in trying to maximise your chances. Suggest you read the t&c to see why missing a claim may be a better hit to take than falling foul of the big one that could cost you the lot. I could be wrong, but if you submit a bill showing you haven't paid for that month, then that could suggest you were going to default on the contract and mobiles.co.uk would lose their commission from the network, hence the protectionist step of complete cashback cancellation to you.0 -
PJB - Can you clarify, please, which month's bill hasn't been paid?0

It really is VERY simple.
You've stuffed up (not uncommon). You need to send your OCTOBER bill, which (I assume) shows a missed payment. The t&C WHEN YOU SIGNED UP specified:-
"Cashback will not be paid if"...
"if any of your monthly bills are not paid in full".
Send in an unpaid bill = no claims paid.
The only subject to is whether the October bill actually shows a missed payment; Vodafone bills do not show payments from previous bills.
I would add on a general note that two or three current claims are encountering small difficulties among my people with this dealer at the moment. I suspect it is complete incompetence and technical problems rather than deliberate stupidity but I/we are making sure it doesn't stop us getting paid.0
