Morning all,
Bright and breezy here, I have a towel load in the wm, so will get that on the line, so lucky with the weather atm, yesterday brightened up, so got all the bedding dry, heating is not on yet as its just far too warm, I normally try for Nov 1st, and its been so easy this year, so will carry it on for as long as possible.
Kathy, glad you are feeling better, today is the first day that I have woken up and felt slightly better too :T think its on the way out, not sure about seeing dad, I might wait till later in the week just to make sure.
I need to do my office work this morning, and then hoover through, clean lounge and kitchen.
I am doing a roast pork for dinner, will invite mum, I think she really enjoys coming for her dinner once a week.

Redruby - so glad you're feeling better, too. This is definitely my best day for over a week; I still have a bit of a cough but at least now I don't sound as if I'm on 40 Woodbines a day! Hugs to your dad.
Bramble - I echo what Redruby says. I had to fly from the UK to France on my own once. I hate flying normally, but I really enjoyed the whole trip. It was a clear day and the view from up above was fantastic. I never look out of the window on long flights but, somehow, this was different and not nearly as scary! My flight was just 55 minutes - we took off, climbed a bit, had a cup of coffee, then descended and landed - I'd barely had time to get settled! Your flight will be just like that; try and make the most of the experience! As an added bonus, you'll be so glad you did it!

We spent time yesterday thinking about all the friends, four-legged as well as two-legged, that we have now residing in the Summerlands. I'm sure Diva will have found a warm welcome; I always feel that while someone lives on in your heart, they're never truly gone from you.
Uh, oh - Mr LW is making "I'm hungry" noises/gestures. I'd better go and see about some dins.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Afternoon all,
really sunny here today but the weather this morning said it was going to be wet all day so didn't put any washing out. Bit frustrating as have LOADS to get done - have no idea where it all comes from half the time.
Feel a bit 'meh' today - fed up with work, tired, cold, getting stressed about a christmas fair I'm helping with.... just want to go back to bed but it's not an option! OH has a stinking cold, as do loads of people at work, so am just waiting for that to strike. There's so much of it around I don't think I'll be able to miss it completely.
Dinner tonight will be pie and chips - good old comfort food! Think I might need something with custard as well to really top up my stodge levels.
Have a good day all, hugs to those that need them. Am off to do half an hour of college work then it's back to the grindstone for the afternoon! Roll on hometime...0 -
