Seem to remember someone suggested a really strong tea solution (about 2 tea bags to a cup of water).

But that might have been to remove polish (to make tables shine when they look dull because they have been over polished) :-/

I'll see if I can find it

olive oil and a drop of lemon juice is the biz for the wood and the leather suite

I use one of those California duster things. Cost me £16 which was expensive but it lasted 10 yrs. You can get them from pound shops now! I only ever use polish if there are sticky fingerprints about. Too much polish makes your furniture sticky and makes the fingerpirnt prob worse.

can you explain what a california duster is MATH?

also - i heard recently that you can dust with watered down fabric softener, and that it works really well as its anti-static so stops dust gathering?! could be a load of rubbish, but its what my friends mum told me!

Shame on you 160. Get your Lakeland catalogue out - the Home Solutions one - and you'll find the Californian Dusters on page 23 (in the Autumn issue one which I've got here. They'll be on their website as well but haven't mastered how to do links and stuff yet :'(
