Sky offer Infinifty as well for £20 per month and call it Sky Fibre Unlimited. They dont market it as strongly for the ordinary user as BT does. After I read the Sky advert I am now rethinking getting the faster speed. What do you think http://www.sky.com/shop/broadband-talk/fibre-optic/

I would not touch sky. I don't know how they would operate this fibre service but I know that their ADSL was a mess. The service was massively oversubscribed and the result was that it basically stopped at peak times. They never would admit to this when pressed and would run you around doing pointless tests and getting engineers out but it was a widely accepted fact.

Yep, extremely slow. Try restarting your router; if that makes no difference, get on to BT.

Seems a bit slow, especially the ping.:(

Can't post the image as I don't have hosting space but mine was

    Ping - 10 download - 59.56mbps upload - 9.98mbps

    on the first test, and

    Ping - 10 download - 68.16mbps upload - 10.35mbps

    on the second.

    Resetting can help.

There's a big difference between test sites too: unless you always use Preston try somewhere else - possibly London.

The Okla speedtest gave these results - basically the same.

I had issues last night, netflix quality kept dropping out and UTV player took ages to load up. The speed tested OK but I wasn't sure if there was some variability - I very rarely have issues.
