Good morning all
No snow down here on the south coast
Finally started tackling that housework yesterday, the place looks a little better, thankfully. Now to just keep on top of it. Tonight I really need to clean the kitchen floor, it's getting to look a right mess where people have been coming in and out from the garden.
I sold my first book on Amazon yesterday only for 5 quid, but it was one that I didn't want anymore, so can't really complain. There's a nice quiet postoffice near to work so posting it off shouldn't be a problem.
Have a great day all. Hope the snow doesn't cause anyone any problems.Debts: Mum £3923 0% APR0 -

Morning
Our Andrea's had her baby :j
I'm working from home today. I rode to work yesterday, after a few minutes my nose was numb and I had a headache, it was soooooo cold.
I've got to make about 100 copies of an order of service for a friend's wedding. They haven't decided on colour or size, or told me any info whatsoever. The wedding is on saturday   I did the invitations (I made them just before Christmas), the final design for them was given to me at the last minute too. They kept changing their minds. I'm not even getting paid, I offered to do them as a wedding present. Wish I hadn't bothered now. Don't know WHEN I'm going to make them, I have tons of work to do for my boss over the next 2 days, then a bit of work on friday, an appointment at the school (like parents evening but at 11.30am) and miss tru has an appointment with the orthodontist at 3pm.Bulletproof0 -

How cold is it today I'm freezing! Anyway on a training course for most of the day today and believe me it's not going to be good!
Managed to start my kitchen deep clean last night and only got as far as the cupboards on one side and the cooker as that was - well words cannot describe
Can anyone tell me the best way to clean the hob, I've tried startdrops, flash etc and nothing seems to work that well
Plans for tonight is to see the man about the extension and carry on with the kitchen.
Think thats all for now, but as always take or leave the :grouphug: as needed. You laugh because I'm different - I laugh because you're all the same0 -

Good morning :hello:
Didn't post yesterday as I was suffering from active-itis. Was sooo in the mood to de-clutter that I got loads done. I now have a huge pile of games to take to DD's school for their toy and book sale - the books will be tackled next.
DD was picked to play in the girl's football team at school yesterday. She is the goalie because she saved the most goals, she tells me. They are playing in a tournament tomorrow after school. They only started playing football last week so I am not hopeful of the outcome but I will be there cheering them along at the top of my voice.
It's payday today so my bank balance will look healthier. PTFA meeting after school today for the dreaded bingo night. I always help out at these things but have no clue as to what's actually going on as I have never played bingo. So, I will be selling tea and coffee or maybe raffle tickets.
Hope Wednesday is good to you. For those of you who have snow, try and enjoy it. Penny-Pincher you photos are lovely. Makes me miss snow even more.
Edited to say: congratulations Andrea on the birth of Eleanor."Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

Just popped in to say its snowed in Maidstone!
Hub left at 6 for work and is back as it was too slippery(motorbike).
Kids have trudged off for the 25 minute walk to the bus. DS has A2 Psychology so doesn't want to be late.Luckily the council got the gritters out intime .Usually it is difficult to get out of the side road we live in ,on foot never mind the car.
Bye for now

No snow here eitherIt's been raining and seems a bit warmer than yesterday too. DD is off on a school trip to the museum today, they have a victorian classroom set up there so she's going to get a shock
She's been sent out of the class twice in the last two days and her teacher wasn't there yesterday so I now definitely know it's madam playing up. I spoke to the lovely classroom assistant who said it's not just DD, there are a whole group of them messing about. She has also told me something the teacher hasn't bothered to, DD is doing Year 2 work so she can't complain about being bored. I should be pleased I suppose but now I'm worrying about what will happen when she goes into Year 2 and has already done the work. Year 3 is when she goes up the road to the Junior school.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things
