    morning all!!!

    Hope everyone's well!

Got a surprise when i went outside today, its warm!!!:eek:

Just shocked my neighbour, i actually got to the shop before she did. Me and the shopkeeper tortured her, so everyone got a a shock when they saw three people at 6:30am laughing they collective backsides off.

plans for today , think i'm going to make mince pie or mince and dumplings for tea. Also have to give my sister money for a toy party, and go my mothers. Take OH to the police station to get a point put on his licence , well i hope its not three points and pay a £60 fine :mad::mad:. I'm furious at him :mad:.

But we sold the car :j:j so £600 went straight into the business account, so OH has to phone up and cancel car insurance today too. So i'm keeping positive.

Oh just remembered have to sort clothes out for freegle and pay £50 off coddy's school trip. arghhhhh

Well better shoot off and make toast for coddy and wake snips up.

Have a good day all. x

emsf i felt like that last week with my 7 year old, apparently he forget the sun shone on the night :o
  • Good morning everyone.
At last i can finally post. I've had what started out as a thumping headache on Friday, then changed into a full blown migraine on Saturday and Sunday. Woke up this morning migraine free!! Just in time for work.
Looking very dull outside today. Washing has been put on the airer. Tonights tea is hm chilli from the freezer. Quick and easy so i can catch up with the ironing when i get home from work.
Hope everyone has a good day and hugs to those who need them.

Morning all. Sorry about the mess up yesterday, and thanks esmf for the help. I've written down your instructions so that in the unlikely event of me being the first one on here I can get things going properly.

I find it odd that It's Monday and you are all getting into the swing of the week. After the usual manic weekend Monday is always my day off. The Vicaress was taking a Harvest Festival some way away and we were both invited to the church lunch afterwards, which was nice. Then I got home just in time to throw together 3 large pear flans and rush off to the Drop In with them. A large crowd there last night - I guess the dark and the rain made a hot meal seem a good idea. It makes you thankful for what you've got when you hear some of the stories our customers have to tell.:(

Some one gave me a large bag of apples which I want to turn into pies and crumbles but there isn't an inch of space in my freezer, nor in the Drop-in freezer, so I will have to think again.

Have no real plans for today but looking around the house I'd better make a few pronto. I really must haul myself back on to the Flylady wagon I think. I keep the hall, lounge and kitchen up together (constant visitors!) but the rest of the house looks as though someone has picked it up and shaken it.

A small gammon joint will go into the SC this morning, which will be hot today with saute potatoes, veg and onion sauce. Cold tomorrow with Jacket potatoes and salad, and what's leftover will go into sandwiches and quiches.
Now I'm off for a good breakfast, several mugs of coffee and a catch-up on Downton Abbey. Lovely! :)

I have lost touch with what's been going on for the past few days, but if you are feeling down I hope you find something to lift you. If you are in pain I hope that it eases a bit. If you you have too much to do, please try to find a little space to just be you again. If you are lonely, remember all the friends you have here. And if you are ecstatic....WEY- HEY!:j:beer::j:beer::j:beer:
I believe that friends are quiet angels
Who lift us to our feet when our wings
Have trouble remembering how to fly.

    Morning everyone

Dull but dry here today so 1 load out on the line. DH up and off to work at stupid early o'clock.

Had lovely time away, managed to get a few more bits towards the xmas prezzie list and all at reasonable prices. Had lovely food at our accommodation and with my brother and his partner Sat and Sun. We went to the Mill not to far from where my bro lives did a tour, had something to eat in their cafe and then purchased some flour etc (is excellent quality and always gives good results). Boys had a really nice time away with my parents, but have come back with the usual huge bag of washing.

Back to work today so will be interesting to see what's been going on whilst I've been off last week.

Have managed to make a few sales on ebay so 1 already posted, another to do and 1 being collected tonight - so a bit more in the savings purse. Dinner tonight will be gammon, egg, mash, veg and onion sauce - did manage to get a bit of menu planning done last week. Will be endeavouring to get the washing all done so I can get it ironed up to date on my days off and then get the housework done and be back up to date. Am going to endeavour to get the painting finished as fed up with waiting for DH to do it.

Have a great day everyone, hugs to those that need/want them, take care.

    Morning All,

Its wet and dreary here, but have planned to go and see my cousin/bestie for a trip to some different charity shops, can't wait, my kind of shopping:j
Was going to wash my hair this morning but will put it up otherwise the rain will make me look like a drowned rat.

Had a lovely day yesterday in Yorkshire with mum and dad, and even better as it was just us and no other family. Had chance for a proper catch up.

Tea tonight will be potato ash for DH and DS3 as I am off to SW.

House is clean and tidy and washing all done, not often I can say that.

Off to check on my ebay, have a spooky Halloween.

Hugs to those in need Julie x
