Vodafone employee advantage scheme discount - NHS?


apparently, they give 20% discount on pay monthly plans of £20 and more including iphone

and 10% discount on pay monthly plan of less than £20

has anyone tried this?

can anyone here verify that this true as i find vodafone customer service really @#!&?

i dont trust them completely and i think anyone who is a vodafone customer can relate with me.

Jazz I went in my Vodafone shop a few weeks ago and spoke to someone on Vodafone's web chat about discount for key workers (I'm a manager in a shop for the record) and was told by both people that I would get 25% discount on price plans above £25 a month and 10% on under £25 a month but can't be sim only. I could also get the same deal for 5 family members or friends also. I would need to take my staff ID with wages slips in to prove I work there. Hope this helps

Hi Heidi,

If you work in a school are you eligible? Would it depend on which position you were in?

Also is this for customers who are with you at the moment as I still have many months of my contract left and my brother and sister have just joined with yourselves.

the nhs hospital i work with is not on the list. does it mean i am not eligible? also i had a live chat with someone on vodafone site and both person said i am eligible because i work in nhs. one of the reason why i am asking this in here is to get as much information as i can as i do not trust vodafone customer service. so i am? or am i not? also since the nhs i work with is not on the list, what do i need to do to register?

I have just double checked this for you and NHS is included in the scheme. To take advantage of it, there will be a link to a Vodafone form that you can fill in usually on your company intranet or through your HR team.

Hi, I am also interested in this discount, but not sure if I would be eligible!

I work for west midlands police and it isnt on thay list, some police forces are eligible! Would you be able to find out for me please? Im currently a Vodafone customer of 9 years, but id like to see if Voda offer anything for us beforr jumping ship to orange with their perks discount!

do u mean to say, i have to fill in the form from my hospital intranet?? and not from my own computer... because i cannot find one and i dont think my hospital HR dept have heard of this as well.


also..

went yesterday to vodafone store near where i lived and asked about this. the senior member of staff told me that he thinks (definitely think, he said) nhs staff can avail this but i can only do it online. and he wont be able to help as it is online. i waited for about 30 mins to be seen and finished within 3 mins. tops!

Most likely it's who your employer has thier main mobile contract with. Work uses Vodafone, all our company mobiles are on it so hence presumably why we get the discount. If we were all orange or all O2 they'd give us a discount instead.
